No language barriers. Name the last movie (Hollywood/Bollywood/regional) you watched which you found really impressive and which you consider a well-made film.

For me:

Bollywood:

Re-watched Thappad. Loved it just as much as I did a year back. So much to learn from the movie.

Hollywood:

Missbehaviour - A feminist work of art. Though set in 1970, its contemporary appeal and engaging narrative sets it apart. It's all about stopping the objectification of women based on looks, and dismantling the power structures which legitimise this form of oppression, sugar-coating it as a beauty pageant. Would highly recommend it to all.

Regional:

Autograph by Srijit Mukherjee. Loved the movie. It's all about betrayal and its effect on human relationships.

I mean it's heart-wrenching and upsetting but so, so good; I think you'll like it. It's streaming on Netflix, do watch it soon.

The last Korean movie I watched was Parasite. That movie left me feeling unsettled for days. It was a work of staggering genius.
