love unibrow. kajol and her unibrow is too adorable.
That unibrow was her USP, her trend mark. She literally got to set herself apart from the rest for her unibrow because you wouldnt find an actress like that.
That was her marketing strategy.
So don't see it as anything gutsy. It was a clever marketing trick on her part
Unibrows, if taken care well, are not a bad thing....and certainly not ugly.
Indian girls seem way too obsessed nowadays with their superficial idea of "beauty" and perfection, and I am saying this being a girl myself.
Kajol is a brilliant actress, and she certainly stood out in the 90s with her unibrow & conventional looks. Her unibrow is her trademark, even her kids have got it which is very cute.😆
Btw this comment section is amazing. So many people undermining Kajol's talent, acting & looks.😵
I don't like Kajol off-screen, but I give credit where it's due.
She did have connections to stay in Bollywood, but if having connections was enough.... then her sister Tanisha or actresses like Esha Deol would've been superstars today.🤪
Most of the audience till the 90s didn't care who was praising whom in the interviews OR what was going BTS within the industry. E.g Filmfare was something that only urban audiences knew.
Whether she has lightened her skin or not, is another story.....she doesn't owe sh** to anyone😆
What matters is that during her prime she was the one .... who sort of changed the norms in the 90, and won over the audience with her acting/performances.👏

People still make fun of her unibrow , whenever some comedian imitates her , first they do is make a unibrow
And how did Karan helped Kajol become a superstar, Kajol got married the year they made their first film
And she worked very less after her marriage and kids and he was new himself , where did he give all those interviews which projected Kajol as intelligent , he was just a creative person back then who made films that were loved by masses , after that what he became or has become I don't know
But Kajol was a popular actress in 90's and she deserved all of it , and I love how she has aged and has groomed herself in the last 10 years
Recently was watching her Ruk Ruk song, how beautiful and youthful she looks in it
Exactly. Karan wasn't as big as he is now, in the 90s. He was her childhood friend, and they BOTH helped each other.
There was no social media in the 90s, and filmy magazines weren't known nationwide. Majority of the people didn't know/didn't care about what that happens behind the scenes in filmmaking, except a chunk of urban audience.
So, there's no way KJO "influenced" or "hypnotized" the audience into liking Kajol lol.
Kajol won hearts with her performances in films, as the audiences loved watching her in films. Her screen presence was incredible.👏
I'm not a KJO's fan, but I am not blind. KJo bashing has become the fav. timepass of people.
It’s true, she was a star before KJO even arrived on the scene and got married the year after making her first movie with him...
And audience then couldn’t be as easily manipulated or fooled as today’s educated, well-informed audience...
There was no social media and less TV channels, people were less of a sheep back then.

I was watching this insipid movie yesterday and wondered how Karishma won an award for her over the top performance. She was annoying and not...

I have idolized Deepika from the very first frame of Om Shanti Om. I still remember sitting in the theatre as a 22-year-old, watching her walk...
Tanisha says she is not a bad actress/ Neal Nikki was a success https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOWdlSKjO9e/?igsh=ZDA3eTFuYWZ3YjZw
