Until then, she was one of the many with Raveena, Shilpa, and other starlets despite the hits. Because if she had a DDLJ and Gupta and Baazigar, Shilpa had a Baazigar and a MKTA.

Raveena had her hits, too, like Mohra, Laadla, Dilwale, etc.

KJo was the one who went around touting Kaj as the next Shabana Azmi, the intelligent actress, etc. etc. He gave interviews everywhere projecting Kajol as the number 1 when she was at the same level as the rest.

I remember kajol was always considered an okayish actress. But then kjo went about the town proclaiming her to be the best everrrrr. And suddenly everyone was talking about how amazing she is

To be honest I didn't get her unibrow obsession at all. Why unibrow? Is it to send a positive message about facial hair? Why not upper lip hair? That to me is a bigger problem for us girls. Not sure if she was trying to be a role model for us brown girls but if that was the case then she seems insincere. She clearly used money to alter other things about herself

We'll I must say that even though I kept changing my favorite heroes, for the most part of my childhood, and growing up, Kajol was my favorite actress. While I admired the beauty of her other peers like Raveena, Shilpa, etc they never had the "weightage" as Kajol had, in my eyes.

I, of course, had no idea about Karan or anyone else drumbeating about Kajol. But for me there was a huge distance between her and all others when it comes to heroine material. Surprisingly this despite me NOT liking her looks. Not then and not today!!!

I have really thick brows, and there is a faint connecting point between them.

I was either told that unibrow people are evil who wreck relationships.

Or, how if I were to get them trimmed they would come out real good, cause they're so dense. What the actual F$$$. 🤣

I like the fact she decided to flaunt her natural eyebrows and not go for the over-plucked unnatural look!

I agree. I really don't understand why people think she's a 'great' actress. I find her acting to be really loud and boisterous that it gives me a headache.

And how did Karan helped Kajol become a superstar, Kajol got married the year they made their first film

And she worked very less after her marriage and kids and he was new himself , where did he give all those interviews which projected Kajol as intelligent , he was just a creative person back then who made films that were loved by masses , after that what he became or has become I don't know

But Kajol was a popular actress in 90's and she deserved all of it , and I love how she has aged and has groomed herself in the last 10 years

Recently was watching her Ruk Ruk song, how beautiful and youthful she looks in it

I am glad she chose to make a statement via eyebrows, not other parts like Madonna did in the 80s... Or was it 90s?
