Gosh, if any guy looked at a girl the way he did, then there would be no insecurity issues EVER. I believe we just created a catchphrase: Find yourself a man that looks at you like Akshaye looked at Aish in Taal-se-Taal 🤣.

I was gonna say I need to find a man who experiences an eye-gasm when he looks at me but I didn't want to sound too full of myself. 😆 But the catchphrase sounds legit, need to keep it in my stash if the moment ever comes.😆

I’ve verbally sparred with many in real life. It’s become known that the topic of her beauty is my achilles heel 😒

You don’t sound too full of yourself since I dictate my entire life based on unrealistically high expectations influenced by BW 😆

For some reason, people either love her or hate her, there's no in between. And then we've got those overzealous Salman fans who hate her cuz he's the scorned lover. Oh well, haters gonna hate.😆

I try to keep my standards high too but are you sure it's Bollywood that's influencing yours? Unless you mean the "golden" era. Otherwise standards are dropping terribly low these days and I hardly find anything good enough to spark my interest and awe. 😆

I have literally never seen anyone who is neutral about her. They either love or hate her. I don’t have any issues with people disliking her personality or acting but downplaying her looks is too much for me to ignore. Salman fans hate all of his ex’s. Their innocent boy can do no wrong 😆

Oh I’m only referring to the golden era. I hardly even watch BW movies anymore. The love stories are too basic now. I feel zero emotion and zero chemistry. Definitely nothing that makes me want to hug a pillow and scream. Asian and Turkish dramas are filling that gap now

The good content bollywood movies these days are generally on social issues.

I can't name one love story currently in Bollywood that is likeable. I don't know if we crave nostalgia or the movies were exciting when we were much younger, plus we had less exposure back then. These days we are flooded with content from all over the world. I don't know what it is but it just isn't the same.

Also all the current generation of actresses are so un-relatable with zero screen presence. They even look the same to me.

The generation of actresses with Aish, Rani, Tabu, Preity, Madhuri, Priyanka, Kajol etc - had something different about them - both in terms of looks & personality.

I used to imagine myself wooing my crush by dancing on this with the entire class watching us with shocking expressions and all those mean girls who also liked him being super pissed just like the other girl in this song😆

Aish used to be and still is the most beautiful and graceful woman ever in my eyes

I know what you mean. When someone claims that Aishwarya is not "beautiful," it just doesn't cut it for me either cuz beauty can't be THAT subjective, no matter how subjective it is to begin with.😆 I tell myself that some people just like to troll and try hard to not fall for it. 😆

Same sentiments on bollywood. I watched a Turkish drama last year, the lead characters were Hayat and Murat but I forgot the name of the show. Hey, it was nice chatting with ya -- I gotta get some sleep this side of the world. 😆 See ya around.

110% agreed. For the life of me, I can’t seem to recall a single BW love story that I’ve liked recently. The love stories in older movies was more passionate and traditional. I’m a sucker for true love and OTT kind of dramatic/angst storyline’s. Nowadays, BW love stories resemble American teen/young adult dramas - which I’m not into 😆

Ditto same. All the current generations of actresses are like wallpapers to me. Bland and uninteresting. I don’t give a single shit about any of them.

I would do anything to have SRK and Aish paired in a mature romance movie. I feel like their chemistry is so underrated and they deserve a HEA in one godforsaken movie 😭
