....especially if the criticism is of your fave?

I used to be very sensitive if someone criticized Deepika but have now started taking it with a pinch of salt. It no longer bothers me as it used to.

Also, I feel there are 2 kinds of criticism:

1. Unnecessary and toxic criticism

2. Constructive criticism

When it's the latter, I don't mind anyway. The former still gets my goat at times.

Not really... unless I get paid to defend them😆

When people spin too much garbage it just gets annoying though.. I don’t feel bad or sad because of it.

It depends on the person criticising.

Some people are naive and believe in hearsay, and develop a certain image or wrong information about something. So when they are saying straight up stupid things about anyone, doesn't matter if my favorite or not, I try to counter them or correct them.

Than there are some who just hate certain individuals, and I know it isn't worth discussing with them.

Although if they are dead wrong with the information, I love to mock them.

Constructive criticism, I take what I agree with and what I disagree with.

Plus my favorite are polarising figures anyways. Katrina is a shit actor, so if someone calls her shit actor, I don't care. But if someone argues her popularity or beauty, I counter them.

Actually, I think even constructive criticism can be harmful at times. Just because something is presented as constructive, doesn’t make it valid or true. Or maybe I just like the idea of proving people wrong so when I hear someone say “you can’t..”, I think challenge accepted. Unfortunately not everyone can have that mindset and will let negative opinions expressed under the garb of criticism hold them back.

Honestly, celebrity or not, we usually take what we want to hear all along anyway and disregard the rest. 🤷🏽‍♀️

People criticizing my favorites whether constructive or not never bothers me. Probably because I am not emotionally attached to any celebrity. I don't want to bring extra stress and negative energy into my life fighting for people who don't even know of my existence.

The media doing unnecessary criticism bothers me though because I think media impacts all of our lives. They help shape people's thoughts. They guide people to see things a certain way. So it bothers me when they criticize unnecessarily whether the criticism is toward people I like or dislike.

Only outright lies and idiocy bother me

Like one time in 2016 Sultan had a great opening weekend. An this SRK fan was like it probably because of the holiday. An they claimed Salman doesnt own EID. An listed a bunch of SRK films that released on EID. Then they later said SRK doesnt need holidays and his big hits such as Devdas or Kal Ho Naa Ho didnt need holidays. AN I was like Kal Ho Naa Ho was released in Eid 2003 and you yourself posted the list 😆😆

They ran away like little Rat 😆

Then this other SRK fan claimed they were appalled Salman went free on his case and it was a sad day for the world. But they forgot they wanted Sanjay Dutt to also go free and even tried to get me to sign a petition for it. Im like selective justice.

Hard to take these people seriously 😆

No.

But I get really creeped out by some members who are notorious for blindly defending their favourites 😕 Like it's too creepy how even if their fav celeb farts, they call it perfume 🤢I just convince myself that they are paid PR because a normal human being being that defensive for a celeb is so weird.

Toxic criticism is passionate,it is genuine-it is a desperate call to be heard. Arnab,Trump,Kangana..anyone who draws violent reactions, enjoy the hate,The revel in it.They also happen to be the most famous.

In the cumulative ormax media rankings,Kangana finds a place...

She makes a debut on the popular Mood of the nation polls out today, she is in the 3rd pace ..at 16%,she is ahead of all the current MALE superstars!!She was nowhere ,even after she was hailed Queen of BW after 2 successive big hits and rave performances. The admired her,but were not obsessed.

A fanbase is a famous public personality's consumer base.Haters try hard and try to reduce what they instinctively understand, is a huge fanbase.

So if a whole lot of people are not spending hours with toxic criticism ..that celeb has not arrived..or is over. That simple.
