Deepika's dusky tone?

Why was Deepika called dusky toned in the starting of her career

She had more like a caramel shade which made her look illuminating

She was no where dark or dusky (not like it's a bad thing)

Its just that majority of Indians are conditioned to believe that beauty=fairness

So if the person is not fair he/she automatically gets categorised into dark or dusky toned

Its like only two shades exists for Indians

There is no scope for any other skintone

because bollywood has one of those cultures where if you are not pale white you are considered dusky
