Especially if you add in all the alcohol and pills he was taking 😂

I did not talk about myself or you, Einstein! Pay attention to the posts before coming up with your stupid questions.Pity😆

In other words, you don't have a valid comeback so you can only use insults and laughing emojis to make yourself look cool.

You must know better because you were the one who started using the insults. I just paid back in the same coin. 😛

One doesn’t need to make movies that bore people to death to be remembered. But if someone wants to enjoy these kind of movies and worship these directors no one should judge them and vice versa! The elitist mentality that only certain kind of movies and directors are worship worthy is off putting to say the least!

And what about the elitist mentality of deciding what type of movies should be made and released in theaters?

This thread was about that.

But I did more than using insults. You didn't pay back full payment.😆

See? Even I can use emojis.

This thread is hardly elitist. It's more about how commercial and offbeat cinema can co-exist in theatrical spaces. In fact, I was addressing the notion that some people feel certain movies shouldn't release at all in theatres - that is the main point here!

I wish people would read the entire post before commenting.

Nothing to discuss. 2rs trade analysts and box office sites can't dictate what type of movies should be made in Bollywood to please them.

The producers and distributors whose money are at stake know very well what they are getting into by making and releasing risky movies in theaters and they don't need advice from self-proclaimed box office experts.

Exactly. But that section is very vocal, and some members here also subscribe to that mentality.

I wish you first read your own post properly before asking others to do so.

Here is the part I was replying to:

gems like Satyajit Ray or Guru Dutt who are legends and still alive globally because of their work while no one will remember Rohit Shetty or Flying Jatt director

If this was about offbeat cinema and their theatrical release or whatever, what was the need to put down Rohit Shetty and the other guy?
