I grew up in small town and most of my family was around us and entertainment/outings was going to weddings and funerals. Fancy things like jet skiing, parachute jumping, horseback riding and many other things only saw in movies and it looked so wonderful. Then I moved abroad and slowly tried all that myself. Enjoyed it, but in the movies it seemed so fabulous, with hero and heroine doing it, in real life after a while, it was just another activity. First time is awesome, but after that, nothing great.

First time, this happened a year ago. I was on a microbus, last seat near window, the person was just beside me. He just continuously stared at me, it was too creepy..This happened to me first time, so I was not sure what to do. It was dark, about 7 pm..I was wearing earphones and to avoid his staring, started to watch outside the window. The person started coming too close to me. It was a crowded microbus. So, I was unsure he was deliberately doing or not. (It was dumb of me though, it was too clear that he was deliberately doing but at that moment, I didn't know what to do)..

A kind woman called me, asked me am I ok? I said okay. She saw him and me being uncomfortable. After that, the person stopped staring me, and even stopped being too close to me. I think he got it.

The moment that person got off from micro, I thanked that kind woman. She was a saviour.

Before that incident, I loved sitting at last seat. Now, no longer.

I feel it's been so long I sat in bus or micro. I miss going out ( except creepy incidents)

Creeps make girls hate using public transport... I remember one such incident in BMTC bus.. Bangalore's bus service.. I was sitting in the front seat when a scum came and sat next to me.. The first few seats were reserved for the ladies but as every passenger had a seat, no one minded it, including me.. That guy had placed a huge travel bag on his lap.. Funny that he didn't place it down but being the fool that I am I didn't sense anything wrong.. But in a short while the idiot started feeling my chest.. I was horrified.. Got up and glared at him.. Said useless..

The guy started looking outside the window as if nothing happened..

In hindsight I think that I should have made him get up instead.. But I was barely out of my teens then and was shocked..

My blood boils with rage even today when I think of it.. I wish I had more courage back then..

The sense of helplessness is horrible.. I kept quiet because my parents would blame me and not them.. They would have placed restrictions on me.. This sick attitude of parents and society.. Coupled with total apathy from the police empowers the scums..

Some girls have seen greater hell after being abused and blackmailed by friends and relatives..

I got disgusted and left quickly. Few days back there was a small party at my workplace. He was asked to sing a song....he started singing Kabir Singh movie songs again. I was feeling so uncomfortable🤢Two days back he came to me to take some papers....he was not clearly saying which papers he wants. I started shouting at him .chup karke chala gya papers le kar. He is a marriedd man by the way🤢

What do these guys think? They are some studs who can woo women with creepy behaviour.. I pity the woman who married him.. He doesn't deserve one woman in life, bada aaya doosra woo karne.. Kameena

Once I almost fell into a fire grill sort of thing that was laying around our college cafe. My groupmate/classmate caught my hand as I was falling rather slowly but I would have ruptured my kidney or liver for sure had I fallen down then. It was a total filmy scene. What made it awkward was that he was the guy whose proposal I had once rejected. Thank god 🙏 no one else knew that. So when my other group mates started to make fun of me and say how heroice it was or how filmy romantic it looked I literally changed the topic. OMFG I was sooo embarrassed! My god!

Got chased by a particularly obsessive guy relentlessly despite turning him down repeatedly. He was a regular at the same gym where I was a member.

The guy couldn't take no for an answer and kept trying to turn it into a YES. He pretended to "understand" initially after a few attempts and slowly developed a level of platonic friendship with constant "run-ins" and small talks in the gym since we "bumped into each other" frequently on the gym floor.

The "friendship" was very casual and only within the gym space, nothing beyond that. I was foolish enough to exchange numbers after a while cuz he seemed like a genuine person. My mistake was that I even let it get that far.

He made several attempts to continue chasing me under the disguise of friendship. After some time, he started acting weird and flirty, so I called him out on his BS. He then accused me of "flirting" with him and misleading him too. My interest in him was ZERO and don't recall any such intentions. Some people read what they want into things and not how it actually is cuz wishful thinking gets the better of them.

So I cut out the friendship too and stopped responding completely....but he kept texting me odd things for a year with no response from my side. I switched my gym routine to avoid him as well.

Two years later, he wished me on my birthday and I was so creeped out that he's still thinking of me that I blocked him cuz I was worried he was obsessed and couldn't predict what he might get up to if our interactions continued.

The guy just couldn't get over himself and his mom never taught them the concept of "plenty of fish in the ocean" and "moving on."

Absolutely nothing romantic about chasing a girl relentlessly if she has made it clear that she's not interested. Also, don't be friends with someone if you can't respect their boundaries. Ranbir from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil comes to mind.... except at least he didn't stalk her. Surely other bollywood movies that encourage relentless chasing comes to mind too but I can't think of names.

Thanks a lot. I guess having a sister and a strict mom actually plays an important role in the whole development of the mindset of a guy.

Coming back to topic. I just recalled that there was a senior in my office who told his story that he actually helped a girl to board a train by giving her a helping hand and guess what they became friends and got married latter.

Okay so here goes mine. Its very long but entertaining:

At my tuition centre, there was a huge classroom and a small cabin (for like 4-5 people) where anyone could sit and study in isolation. Generally seniors would sit there because they needed peace and quiet.

But on that one day I was in that room studying some rather tough stoichiometry...with my teacher's permission of course.

Now it was evening time and was raining. I was wrapping up when a guy, my junior in school, came in the room to prepare for a class test. We knew each other and were friends (hi-hello types) so naturally exchanged pleasantries.

My teacher came in the room then and asked me to help him study...there was a larger batch my teacher had to teach so if I could clear the basics for this guy it would make things simpler.

Now I should tell u I was a huge nerd and although I was a sucker for romance, I never understood when it happened to me. So I started teaching and this guy had a smile on his face (which I realised much later was that puppy love smile).

When I was done teaching he started asking me questions: things I like, why am I so serious all the time. And I was honestly answering him, that I am here to study and I can do masti etc outside the classes but not here. We spent about 20-30 minutes chatting and I had no idea he was interested in me.

When I started getting up to go home he was like hey lets go for coffee. I was like no, I don't have my wallet today 🤣 He was like arey come on na, just one coffee and I'll even drop you anywhere you want. I was like no thank you I wanna go home. I should tell you that he isn't a creep at all, he is super sweet.

The funniest thing was he was the school hottie, every girl wanted to be around him in some form but he got rejected by the school nerd 🤣 And I came to know that he really liked me around two years after school got over 😆

I never realised that he was in a room with a girl he liked, it was raining (aka romantic mausam) and the poor guy just wanted to get some coffee with her...I was that dumbass 😆

Flash forward to a few years later, we are still friends. He's in a relationship with the girl he got together with after I said no and I share a great rapport with both of them. He is a really loyal guy tbh...they've been together a really long time.

Occasionally we do come face to face and get excited coz school ki dosti and all.

The filmy part is whenever we share a hug or something there's always this expression on his face and warmth in the hug...like how things would be if I hadn't said no, if ukwim? Like they say, you never forget your first crush, even if you have a partner. And I say first coz he was looking to get serious with me...so I was the first in that sense.

He avoids hanging out with me alone; I understand and respect that. I never liked him in that way but I wouldn't want his relationship to ever get ruined, so its best to maintain distance.

That's true our family plays major role in defining our personality traits but somewhere our basic flaws and quality can't be altered so I believe you to be a good human being 👍💫🙂🙂

That's called a perfect romantic film❤️❤️
