Hmm this is not from a movie but kinda filmy... I just thought it was incredibly sweet

I was on the bus having a massive argument on the phone ...I started tearing up ...

A guy in the bus was carrying a bouquet of flowers and he took one out and gave it to me and smiled

Made me go aww and smile for a bit 😊

This was long ago at my work place. One of my very good friends (A) was famous for being mischievous and playing pranks on everyone. One time, he went down on his knee with a rose in hand and said "My dear, this is for you". Ofcourse, this was all in jest and I played along.

Now (A) and I were assigned different projects, worked on different floors in the same office and used to meet at the cafeteria for a break everyday. One day, (A) brought a box of extra sweets that they had left over after some celebration on their floor. While walking out of the cafeteria after our tea break, another common friend (B) stopped , looked at the box of sweets and asked, "what are these sweets for"? (A) said, "Oh, you don't know? We both are getting engaged!". Lol! Ofcourse he was kidding, but the other guy was stunned because for a few minutes, he really believed it. 😆

2 years later: (A) and I were distributing our wedding cards to all our friends. In 2 yrs, we went from being really good friends, to dating, to finally getting married. What we had joked about, actually happened. Lol!

It took us almost a year to get our parent's approval for our marriage. As I mentioned in another post, ours is a "Two States" kinda scenario, so when both families met, you can only imagine the discomfort and the language issues our parents were faced with. They tried to persuade us to forget each other. In the end, they relented and agreed for our marriage. 😊

This happened when I first moved to US. At that time there was no mobile phones. One phone call to India used to cost 2$ per min..

My husband had rented a new apartment. From airport we directly went to this new place. I was missing my family and was feeling very lonely.

Next day we did some grocery and it was time to make some tea.. I had never used electric stovetop before. I decided to first boil the milk ( exactly the way we do in India). So milk was boiling and I was watching it. When it started coming up I switched off the stove top but to my horror... milk kept on boiling and out on stove top.. I started screaming and didn’t know what to do.. my husband was in the bathroom. .. by the time he came half of the milk was on stove top and I was crying. I was feeling so bad first time I started the cooktop this happened.. I was missing my mom.. I didn’t know my husband well. I didn’t know what he will say about this. He came and was calm..then he told me the difference between gas and electric cooktop. Then he told it is okay and it is auspicious to spill some milk for the first time. I felt so much better. Then both of us cleaned that mess till 2 am in the morning..😄

so i had a hugeeee crush on this guy in school...so one day when I entered the main gate....he was walking few inches away...I identified him from his school bag(he had a very unique one)...so i was just staring at his back side..nd thinking...agar hmara milna likha h to ye zrur mudke dekhega...nd he turned around just then..nd saw me🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't know if it's from a movie but once when I visited my husband's aunt who was staying alone in an apartment in southern India, I was trying to put my kids to sleep and suddenly I heard this ssshh ssshh sound coming as if someone is calling me. The first time, I ignored it as my false hearing but when it happened 2-3 times, the hair on my neck just stood up and my entire body stiffened, I closed my eyes and never opened it. Even now when I think about it, it creeps me out.

Interestingly, my husband's cousin who believes in astrology, intuitions, and face reading, etc, went to visit her, and he had the exact same feeling and immediately felt uneasy. He left with my aunt to visit temples to shake off that feeling. He said he felt a presence.

It felt like an introductory scene from a horror movie, the perfect build-up
