Good post.

I have seen women abuse men emotionally and mentally and then chant we are feminists, patriarchy exists and whatnot.

I genuinely believe feminism has become a concept of convenience. Women get a lot of advocacy when it comes to abuse, patriarchy, trauma and you name it - and while YES, that is great and hope it continues..there is barely anything out their to advocate what men go through - and THAT is where "feminism" has lost its meaning.

Even right now...the fact that Sushant could have POSSIBLY been manipulated or abused in any shape or form by a woman - how is that even possible? He is a grown man. He was the junkie who coerced Rhea to get weed or whatever else. And Rhea was the innocent one who took care of Sushant when no one else was around. Rhea was forced to confess to the NCB..Rhea this and that to the point where the guy who passed is now also a potential villain BECAUSE the woman who has been accused is going through so much..(when in reality, she is following what every agency is asking her to do irrespective of gender, and while yes the media trials are harassing her - that has more to do with TRPs than "patriarchy" IMO). Yes, I feel for Rhea's treatment by the media, but Rhea and her team are using patriarchy and feminism as their shield here because that almost always sails women through. Even the actors who spoke up in support..are mostly women. It is working for a reason.

Also, when Sushant got wrongly accused of metoo...what do we call that? Is there even a word for that?

He too was emotionally and mentally disturbed/abused/manipulated, whatever else one would want to call it. His character was maligned and it was OKAY. How many women have gotten blinds written against them which is similar to what Sushant experienced ? Zero if I'd had to guess..but no one peeped a word. Even Sushant couldn't say much because it wouldn't have changed anything. Funnily enough, these Bollywood faux feminists and patriarchy chanters KNEW he was being maligned, and NOTHING was said to help a colleague then. And I think that was arguably the worst blind any contemporary actor in Bollywood had written against him. A metoo accusation could potentially lead to suicide..oh wait, the actor actually might have done that too.

None of these folks are feminists..they're just motivated by their own motives. It's disturbing...but, this is a reflection of how our society functions. As soon as a woman is maligned..hell breaks. God forbid. However, no one peeps a word when it's a guy who gets hit with the same.

Exactly my point, you've put it across a better way.

If he was alive then what would have happened is hypothetical. I mean when he was alive he went through the dead hole during me too.

False accusations destroys a man's life in more ways than one. I've witnessed it first hand đź’”. Par we won't talk on that because he's a man, aur unke emotions thodi hote hai?

Please tell me you're joking 🤦.

Drugs are destructive, doesn't matter legal or not.

This patriarchy angle to explain Rhea's defense is bs in my opinion. Rhea became scrutinized not because she's a woman but because she was one of the closest people around Sushant. Just like how Sooraj Pancholi was scrutinized in what happened with Jia Khan.

On top of that, a lot of her justifications don't even make sense, hence she got herself in even more scrutiny.

I swear I was done with this whole Rhea- SSR controversy but seeing all the Bollywood and wanna be woke people using patriarchy and feminism for Rhea makes me enrage so much .

We need feminism more than ever and using this movement for you own agendas is only making feminism lose its credibility.

one thing though people acting like only indian media bhv like this or mob suspects. Media trial has always been a thing When Jonbennet Ramsay died her parents went throughthe same thing now noone really knows they r guilty or not but media did obsess over the case.Same for OJ simpson case. Did people forget Ted Bundy case? How women would literally line up in the court to see him🤢. Italian media declared Amanda Knox murderer without any proof saying she fasaoed a italian guy with her american ways n showed jo remorse for her roommate. High profile or disturbing crime cases have always generated media frenzy. Human have a very vulturesque nature

true. Rhea herself cant really play women card here.clearly she lied about things and in my opinion things r very sus. Also her n bw all using feminism for their own benefit.where was this bw 's feminism when jiah khan died n even left anote blaming suraj Pancholi. I dont blv any of these ppl r seriously interested in women empowerment.they just want their own benefit bas
