Can't believe people are OK with this. This is Gross misuse of power by an influential family. Don't mess with an IPS officer, Supreme Court Lawyer or a BJP MLA in this country. This murder case has been well diverted to drugs cartel angle and Kangana vs SS angle.

@Bold 1 - Why name call members for having different views then the majority. We all can have civil discussions without name calling each other.

I agree with what you say. Mumbai Police were the best in the country there is no doubt about it.

As an ex Mumbaikar, I can vouch for them. Be it the 1993 riots, the floods in Mumbai, they did an excellent job.

However today's Mumbai police work for the ruling Gov, their hands are tied they have bowed to pressure. The least they could have done was file an FIR in the SSR's case that too they didn't bother. On top of that, they declared it was Suicide within 15 mins.

Mumbai Police will have to work harder to get back to its old glory.

I have mentioned in the post that you have quoted that there are lapses by them in this case hence they are paying price for the same. Every state police is under the Gov ruling and always have some kind of pressure, which is wrong. I am not here to defend them in this case cause I too agree they have made error in their investigation. What I don't appreciate is people forgetting and name calling this same institute which fought almost bare handed with the terrorist and kept us safe for few of the bad apples.

There are serious charges against her.

Possession, Consumption of drugs, procurement, criminal conspiracy and Abetment.

This is not about a drug chat from 2017 or just casual conversations about drugs.

This is a big deal and Rhea rushing to Mumbai police station last night makes sense now. It was a desperate final attempt to make a counter attack because she knew she will be arrested today.

Finally she is arrested. I hope CBI also get to the bottom of things
