This murder case has been well diverted to drugs cartel angle and Kangana vs SS angle.

Also it's not even a proper jail like arrest. It's a remand as of now.

Sushant Singh Rajput Case LIVE Updates: Narcotics Control Bureau arrests Rhea Chakrabarty today under various sections of NDPS. She will be taken for a medical test shortly and is likely to be produced before a magistrate through video-conferencing for remand in the evening. Reportedly, she will now be procured before the court, along with three other arrested accused. The NCB is likely to file a plea before the court seeking that they need to keep all four in police remand for further questioning. Possibly she will be confronted with others in days to come and will be taken to places for recovery if any. Reportedly, to break cartel her custodial interrogation is needed.

If this was for me then I don't believe both as CBI or AIIMS has not given any official statements. Till the time there is no official news I will assume that they are probing from all the angles. I raised the question cause someone claimed that CBI has ruled out suicide angle, which I have not read anywhere.

I echo your feelings. Mumbai police has been saviour to many Mumbaikars like me lots of time. Few instances is not going to degrade them from all Mumbaikar's eyes. Yes, there are going to be some who are going to question their credibility again and again but not all. In this case, they probably made lapses and paying the price. During riots, bomb blasts, terrorist attacks they have fought valiantly for us, I am not going to forget that and blame the whole institution cause of few.

I agree with what you say. Mumbai Police were the best in the country there is no doubt about it.

As an ex Mumbaikar, I can vouch for them. Be it the 1993 riots, the floods in Mumbai, they did an excellent job.

However today's Mumbai police work for the ruling Gov, their hands are tied they have bowed to pressure. The least they could have done was file an FIR in the SSR's case that too they didn't bother. On top of that, they declared it was Suicide within 15 mins.

Mumbai Police will have to work harder to get back to its old glory.

Till yesterday she was saying she never consumed drugs. Only brought it for SSR.

Today she remembered from somewhere that SSR forced her to consume drugs and she accepted that as well.

NCB officers are not fools like Bolly forums members to believe her nonsense and they did not buy her blame on SSR in every acceptance hence the arrest.

No agency leak its investigation to media anyways so we should wait for official statement.

I agree NCB won't arrest her only on the basis of those chats hence the question what happened in a day or two that she was taken in custodial interrogation.

@Bold 1 - Why name call members for having different views then the majority. We all can have civil discussions without name calling each other.

@Bold 2 - I also agree that no investigation agency leaks the information hence we should wait for the official confirmations from the authority rather then believing whatever suits our views,
