Covering up is no longer a possibility -- it is so on-your-face thing now. With Maha government's unprecedented interest in the case, Sunjay Raut wanting everyone to shut up including SSR's family, new video clips coming up with the mysterious woman getting handed over a bag with possible forensic evidences, Rhea's affidavit being a copy-paste version of Maharastra police's , the CP-Shivsena coalition trying to give it a very political color (precedence to incumbent Bihar election and all that crap despite Bihar police coming in the picture after aggrieved family lodging FIR in a separate jurisdiction) the humongous effort of Rhea & Co, Maha Govt and Mumbai Police to subvert the CBI investigation, things are obviously hinting at something sinister and extremely murky.
Also it is clear now that Rhea or Uddhav Thackrey or Mahesh Bhatt or Maha police aren't functioning separately but as a cohesive unit. Things are not as unidirectional as it was presumed to be previously. It is all a nexus where the politicians, police, professionals, Bollywood, and other sundry are participants, conduits as well as complicits to every crime happening under the gilded and glamorous Bollywood exterior. These obvious entities are just small fish in a big ocean infested with man-eating sharks.
Bollywood, Maha Police and Sena are not trying to shelter Rhea because she is innocent or that they believe in Mumbai police, no --- they are just trying to save their own stinking as**s by shielding and sheltering Rhea. If anything untoward is unearthed, it will come tumbling down like a house of card burying big names in its rubbles. I won't be surprised if Rhea C gets knocked off if she starts showing the slightest signs of melting under pressures during the proceedings.
I reiterate - I would be disappointed if the entire thing would end up establishing Rhea and Co as the culprit without unearthing the tentacles and ramifications thereof. The entire nexus need to be unearthed and the racket busted...
Even if CBI steps in now, I wonder if everything will come out in open. Significant time has elapsed since SSR's demise, proofs have been wiped out and even tampered with. Besides, unless it it a closed-covert investigation where even the names of investigating officers are kept secret, how sure can we be that CBI won't crumble under higher pressure(s) or succumb to lure of money or whatever might tempt them!!
