Thakela Punju songs get a billion views from their click pawns. Aur yahan toh koi dekh bhi nahi sakte kitne views hai. Besides big producers pay to click firms so that OTT wale buy their next films.

They'd do the same for Sadak 2 and other movies starring nepokids, big PHs, big actors.

Haan wo to legit point he. Ye sab drama he boycott this boycott that. It doesn't matter whether nepos act bad or it looks like the fake nose or lips will fall off any moment. Public bahar nahi ja pa rahi to watch movies ghar me baith ke araam se koi bhi dekh hi lega.

Hopefully we will get a clearer report next week when Ormax numbers come in.

Ormax is another stooge of these people. I remember the month Kalank became a disaster and Aloo got trolled, the next month Alia became their #1 moving DP from that place. Ya toh paisa rules, aur nahin toh mob rules. That's why Kangu entered their list for the first time this month, and nepokids lost their place.

I am not understanding why is it so difficult to accept that it is trending at #1.

Yes Janvi did an average job but the movie has many aspects which goes well with the audience.

First and most important the father daughter plot. It was portrayed very well. If you want to ignore the movie bcaz of Janvi then you will be overlooking the hard work of a very talented actor called pankaj tripathi. Ek ko insaaf dene Mein dusre se nainsaaf maat karo.

It also shows why women should have equality and holds on the patriotic theme nicely.

The agenda is to boycott mediocrisy and not let talented actors suffer. Why should one hate something which is good? After all content is the king. Just for Janvi and kjo if you want to hate all the other 100 people associated with it then that's wrong. If the content was horrible like that of Sadak2 then the astonishment was acceptable but when the content is good then why such hate.

One change that Bollywood badly needs is the promotion of content based movies, to sell a movie because of the content not because it has bhaijaan or bebo in it, if anything with good content is doing good then encourage it and if anything with good content is not doing good try to raise your voice for that.

I guess it's more of the latter (mob) when it comes to Ormax because very difficult to question their authenticity since they have now become an industry standard for everything- tv/radio/films/ads. They look pretty legit to me though having heard from people I know about the way they measure things, atleast for TV shows and films, don't know much about celebrity rankings.

The moment thye become standard the momemnt they start getting money. Money weighs heavier than mob. They go with the mob only when they don't want to lose credibility or to gain the lost one. Everyone is a KRK, they make their pocket happy or go with the mob depending on the situation and most of the time it's the former. That's how they earn, that's how they feel important.

Nahi re, ormax has been an industry standard since so long, around 2008. Maybe the general public got to know about it recently when they started all these celebrity lists to build their digital brand and go mainstream but saare TV channels and films ke saath they have been working for so long along with BARC & TRAI (for TV). Ad rates for all shows on TV are decided based on all these numbers provided by ormax and Barc. Infact ormax ka toh sabse zyada TV channels ke saath tie up hai because of their brand integrity.

Even for films, lagbhag poora Bollywood depends on ormax for their research and statistics- pre shoot script testing, market research of what kind of content indians want to watch, consumer behaviour, testing of music of the film and all of those hifi marketing things for almost 80% big production houses across India. Abhi toh studios have also started taking part in film screenings with ormax before release to test whether the film is working or not. Abhi jab itne saare brands aur pure desh ke production houses/TV channels ko ormax mein itna bharosa hai for authenticity toh main kyun na karoon 😆

But yes woh celebrity listing ka pata nahi since that's not my area of knowledge but otherwise I find them pretty legit.
