Also when most of us say, oh god I suck at this game, it is a subconscious thing of reverse jinxing.

We have an inbuilt defensive mechanism which makes us expect the worse, and if we do even slightly better we feel good, and if we don't, we are like mujhe toh pata hi tha I suck.
