Who are, strictly speaking, better than Alia in acting?

The myth is that Alia is the best actress of her generation. But let's come down to brass tacks. Who all do you find better than Alia in acting? You can list as many names as you want.

For me:

Kangana

Taapsee

Parineeti

Ileana

Bhumi

Among her seniors, Priyanka, Kareena and Deepika are all better than her.

I love Deepika, but she would not suit the bubbly charecters. Same goes for Kangana and Priyanka. Tapsee and Illena had played mostly flowerpot roles in South India. I think they are looking for content. None of them suit the roles Alia plays.

Accept it Alia is a good actor.

I feel she is a mediocre actress. The only movie where she did "good" acting is Udta Punjab. rest....strictly one-note acting. And since you mentioned bubbly roles, Parineeti can ace that genre and do better in serious films too.

PC, kangana, parineeti, and taapsee

I don’t think alia could ever show the versatility kangana and priyanka have achieved, ever.

nor do I think she can pull off taapsee or parineeti’s acting in their best films be it mulk, pink or ishaqzaade

Oh yes...how could I forget Sanya Malhotra? She's far better than Alia.

Even Tripti's performance in Bullbul beats everything Alia has done so far.

Alia has yet to touch shades of grey and a bubbly color. Tripti in her first and second film did that. Bullbul had shades of grey. And Laila was a bubbly role done differently. 👍🏼

I would add Vidya and Rani to the list.

as In bubbly you mean acting and playing off as a 15 year old teen, shandaar, and humpty -she did play bubbly and this is the vibe I got. I’m past The age of watching Disney.

No wonder many of her fans are kids
