Breaking up with someone cause you fell out of love is one thing but breaking up with someone cause you suddenly fell in love with someone else...isn't that what's called cheating?...by your logic it is justified to cheat/breakup with your partner if you meet someone one day and start having feeling towards that person?

Cheating is when you simultaneously be with both. We cannot control our feelings . If one falls in love with someone and thinks he is being unfair to his current relationship , then the right thing is to break up. Why sadden the person more ? It's unfair to both.

Having feelings for someone else when you are already in a committed relationship with someone is still cheating in my eyes...you cannot justify every emotion or feeling under the umbrella of "you cannot control your feelings"....some feelings are considered morally right like loyalty and others like cheating or temptation wrong.

Even murderers feel like killing other people...some emotions and feelings are meant to be controlled if you want to seen or considered right in a moral society!

Sure right thing is to break up when you have initiated and committed to a wrong feeling...but then you still stand wrong in the eyes of what is considered right or wrong in a society.

There is such a thing as emotional cheating when a person talks in a romantic way to another person despite being in a relationship. But falling for someone else when you're with someone already means you have fallen out of love with your partner and fallen for someone else. It's extremely awful to feel that but feelings whatever they are really are valid as you can't control who you fall for.

As for murderers... as long as they don't act upon their feelings (of wanting to kill) they're still a good person. Same with cheaters, if they feel for someone else the right thing to do is to break up so that their partner can find someone who loves them because the partner deserves love.

Ankita was in a relationship with actor Bharat Chavda when she met Sushant...she eventually broke up with him and started dating Sushant. Its not cheating. And nothing immoral about it. Love happens . Yes , can't be controlled.

You do get attracted to people even after being in a relationship, it happens....but how do you fall out of love so easily? is that even love then? that can't even stand its ground...you meet someone else start liking them then you don't like them and then meet someone else and start falling for them...it's a cycle that eventually leads to cheating at one point of your life if you don't learn to control it or otherwise it means you are not meant for serious relationships.

If you keep following a same pattern which may be wrong, unfair or hurtful to another person then that means you need to work on your emotions and feelings first before you start being hurtful and involving someone else to your vicious cycle.

Similarly, Sushant was in a 6.5 year long relationship with Ankita when he started "falling" for Kriti if rumours are to be believed.

But who is talking about Ankita or Sushant over here? You can't keep falling for people and then don't anymore and then call it "Love"...it's not that easy of an emotion you feel for people and then you just don't one day!

Wow a kartik thread turned into this😒

BTW there is not way of knowing what happened between two people who have been in relationship for that long and break up suddenly so there is no point in passing judgements. It's not like one day he suddenly woke up and felt he didn't love Ankita anymore. There are so many possibilities.. Maybe their ideologies changed, maybe they had a misunderstanding which grew over a period of time, maybe she said something hurtful, maybe he said something hurtful, maybe it was his fault or maybe it was her fault, maybe they did try to resolve but their egos came in between.. Who knows!!

If you had read my replies...I wasn't even talking about them cause as you said there is no point in discussing and passing judgement about their relationship.

I was only trying to make a point about the feelings part cause some were saying that you can fall in and out of love with anyone as you don't have control over your feelings and that who you fall for even after being in a relationship, you just can't help it. Well, if love is such an easy emotion to fall in and out of, then for an emotion which is the most glorified one of all emotions of human kind...it may be highly overrated!

Definitely if someone keeps falling out of love like a pattern, they are just a user. Who don't care about other people's feelings and get bored of everyone.
