Sid is a better actor than Varun?

I feel bad for Sid as he is trashed a lot for his acting. His acting is strictly mediocre but not bad. He was good in Hasee To Phasee, Kapoor and Sons and Ittefaq. I think he is a director's actor and capable of churning out something more than mediocre performances, if guided right.

Varun is also a mediocre actor. He peaked in Badlapur and was good in October, but the rest of his acting has been pretty bad. But I see Varun getting much more respect than Sid.

I personally feel Sid is a better actor. Comment/Discuss.

Sid ka muh bhi thik se nahi khulata hain kya acting karega woh. Varun bhi waahiyaat hi hai par thodi si toh acting kar leta hai.

I agree that Sid is definitely a better actor. On the other hand Varun Dhawan is a total trash when it comes to acting. Sorry if his fans have to read this but it is the truth. Not getting the nepotism debate here but Varun has never impressed me. Hes just the same in all his movies .. yeah maybe October and Badlapur were his only films where he acted a bit differently but it was more so because the directors were very creative. His acting is all his movies seems likes he just over acting with that annoying tone of his. Cant explain buts its like bakwas. Very over rated he is.

While Sid is better looking agreed but hes more restrained as an actor. He doesn’t do over acting. His movies may not have done that well but his acting was still fine like in Brothers, A Gentlemen, Ek Villain. But i still liked his acting in Hasee toh Phasee, Kapoor and Sons, Bar bar dekho and Ittefaq.

I wished he had someone who could guide him better or project himself more confidently l, he would have done wonders. Nevertheless, i think his next movie seems nice so lets see.

But yeah even if you dont agree Varun Dhawan seems to be a nice human being but no one can change the fact that hes a total trash of an actor.
