As much as Varun sucks, he is better than robo Sid.

I think it comes down to personal preference. They are rreally different personalities.
Varun May be slightly better as an actor, but people like his energetic personality on screen and his films cater to the masses. He is also a better dancer and has better comic timing.

Sid has also had ek villain and marjaavaan, which have also catered to masses. He has potential, I wouldn’t write him off too quick. He’s got a different vibe going for him. He’s better looking but he lacks a bit of charisma on screen according to me. sometimes comes across as robotic and doesn’t let his inhibitons go.

There are times when I prefer sidharth like in that movie ittefaq. I though he was good. Same with hasee toh phasee. He was also good in jabariya Jodi but don’t think anyone watched that film

LOL I watched that film. It's pretty bad, but I agree Sid was good.

As for the rest of your post, I agree. Sid has a diff. vibe going for him. I like him in rom-coms and modern family dramas. Also, he was good in The Gentleman.

Varun is ok to be a comic actor like a salman khan

hes short and can do funny faces and his voice suits comedy than any other stuff

Sid is better for serious roles, sid does better when not spewing dialogues very little dialogues

But both cannot act to save their life

Both are bad actors IMHO.

What works for Varun is that he clicks with the "Bollywood Hero" wala image that resonates with the audiences.

What makes Sid likable is his off-screen personality He is such a sweetheart, gentlemen type of a guy. BUT on-screen he just doesn't fit.

He could've carved his own niche but he never found his footing.
I am amazed he still keeps getting films.

Varun is a better actor than Sid. He can do comedy, dance and action scenes too. Sid sometimes looks like a statue in a movie.

Yes, I liked this film..very underrated.

No. Watch October, and just based on that one film alone, I can say that Varun is actually a very good actor who needs good scripts / director to bring out that.

Playing a restrained character is not easy, and Varun played it very effortlessly and beautifully.

Sid is easy to look at, but his acting is strictly average.

sid is certainly better. liked him in hasee to and kapoor n sons. varun on the other hand is a horrible over act. said that he was awesome in october. so basically they are directors actors and not naturally gifted.
