I think personal life and governing quality are two distinct things. I wouldn't care what Bill Clinton did in his personal life, if he didn't deregulate the banks which cause the recession!!! Get the distinction now??

I won’t get into too much into why I don’t like him. Different people from different ends of the political end of the spectrum will have different opinions of him. He left a surplus by cutting programs like child welfare. His crime bill made it so their are more people in prison in America than China right now. Mostly people of color who got caught at a young age doing nonviolent offense like possession of marijuana.

But yes he left a surplus!

I think he cut welfare funding for the disabled and elderly too, and repealed the Glass Steagal act which caused the banking collapse that kick-started the Recession of 2008, with Lehman Brothers.

Yup Glass Steagal act being repealed caused the recession or at least was one of the main components. I know so many Indian/Asian law students studying financial law to become the next Elizabeth Warren because it impacted their childhood.

Anyone can get into American politicsif they're born in the US. Kanye running right now and Trump a former celeb prove that people like largeer than life personalities.

But I don't think she should b/c she has 0 idea about how politics work, American history and social issues. She does post about them but I don't think she's truly taken out time to analyze them. So I'm really against any celeb getting involved.

I hate the idea of Kanye West and his wife getting involved. But Kim Kardashian has used her power and contacts to make some positive change. I thought it was disingenuous after first. She was doing it to clean up her image. But she is taking time out to inform herself. And it is effected America positively. If PC wanted take out 4 years of her life to study law. Or at least go back to college to get a bachelors degree in politics than I could say she has some qualifications.

Hell no. She is cunning and amoral so she has that going for her but as an Indian woman born outside the country, she would never be accepted. All her hypocrisy would be targeted by her opponents - fairness cream ads, portraying sleeping with a black person as the ultimate downfall in Fashion, supporting Modi and KPS Gill, being a liberal in the US and right-wing in India, and so many other things like her argument with the Pakistani girl.

She can go back to India and become another Smriti Irani. Indians hero worship celebs so it's easy. Every actor that goes into politics gets elected. You can be dumb AF and it doesn't matter.

Also, I dont think anybody would care about the Pakistani girl since her accusations were ludicrous (she claimed PC was warmongering by writing Jai Hind).
