Although this video doesn't cover much, but Mahesh raises some good points like how some star kids like Arjun and Sonakshi get chance after chance, after failing so many times. How they aren't ready acknowledge they are born with silver spoon. How media and audience are obsessed with star kids and so on.

While he also said the harsh reality, and I agree about it, nepotism is nowhere to go, so the thing people should do if they indeed want talent to sign is to watch the movies done by them. Yes it can countered that Sushant did, but still he is no more, but remember we will never know the reason behind Sushant's unfortunate and untimely demise, all we can do is speculate.

Another point which I want to make:

Big production companies like YRF, Dharma etc make bulk deals with the distribution & exhibition chain, for multiple products at once. Hence, they could acquire priority for selling their substandard nepo products over good movies.

Bollywood won't change. Audience has to change to force changes. Not all movie producers and filmmakers are Kjo and Aditya chopra. There are outsider filmmakers who will give outsiders chances if they feel they are as relevant to audience as the star kids.

I think what we are realising now is that nepotism is not limited to giving more movies to insiders.

It is:

Fake blinds

Ignoring them during promotions

Paying media to gloss over their talent in reviews

Throwing them out of movies they signed for

Making derogatory comments about them in public

Not making them part of industry events

And no one can defend this bullying.

Mention one insider ALL this has happened to in recent times. Not one of the things. But ALL of them. bec outsiders have to deal with this all on a regular basis.

Who takes Kangana seriously? And secondly, Kangana is equally condescending towards her fellow outsiders like Taapsee, Bhumi, Deepika, as she is to insiders. Woh kisi ka nahi hai.
