Why didn't Ekta stand up for Sushant Singh Rajput?

People, media and the entire world is talking about Pavitra Rishta but Ekta got SSR to do Kish Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. She wanted to promote him as the ML but had to listen to trp drum roll. Ekta got Sushant to do Pavitra Rishta and made him a ghost in her other show

2012 she gets a flare and declares war on kdmhmd fans by saying that leads won't be repeated again. All channel heads also give their tid bits. The target is Mr. Harshad Chopda

So basically a young talented budding tv star gets unofficially banned. Then the so actor decides to take a break.

In same year Ekta helps SSR in securing Kai Po Che. It's well known that her recommendations were of the highest order. A star is born and till 2019 he delivers huge hits.

All of a sudden history repeats itself. Seven producers ban Sushant. Reasons star kids r jealous.

But cat fights, snatching roles are common in the tv land also

If life was so difficult for him why wasn't Ekta approached. I am sure she is not very pally with YRFs, Salman Khan, Nadiadwala. Kjo yes is a very good friend. Ekta genuinely adored Sushant. It's not true that SSR did not have any Godfather, Ekta Kapoor was his mentor.

If six or seven films were taken away, ekta has the capacity to produce another dozen for Mr. Rajput.

Sushant knew that his mentor ruined careers and also resurrected quite a few. Couldn't he just wait for time to pass by or go back to Ekta.

When an outsider comes to make it big in Bollywood, he or she ought to know that from Raj Kapoor's era, nepotism has ruled hindi film industry. You might end up with enemies not friends.

Sushant did make a fair amount of money in comparison to his tv peers ...all his co stars were aware that he was next to Shahrukh and Irfan Khan

Why didn't SSR reach out to Ekta and even if he did what prevented her to manage him. Sushant is one tv actor who got his dues from Ms. Kapoor. She adored him. There was some kind of respect which isn't there for others.

It was just a matter of time. He could have waited.

There is also something which does not really fit the puzzle. Sushant's ex manager and friend also taking their lives in quick succession.. is there a connection

Assuming everything you said is true, did he approach her? Sometimes, you have to open your mouth and ask.

Besides, can we stop the blame game? This is really getting out of hand now.

Only one person knows what pushed him towards taking this drastic step, and he isn't here to tell us.

Then he shld have pulled back a bit instead of taking his life. Even if the world was against him, there is Ekta on one side and the rest on the other.

Looks like you are using this opportunity to highlight what happened to harshad chopra. You could have simply shared what ekta did to harshad rather than discrediting sushant and making her the godmother for him.

Ekta was miffed with sushant fr long for leaving pavitra rishta and he earned his first movie and the rest followed.

He had his issues which he mentioned as personal demons. It's that industry ppl jealous of his success added more to it by releasing blinds and tarnishing his image. Anyways it would be better if you go through all the discussions on forum rather than assuming that on losing Bolly movies he gave up his life.

This tweet from krk is beginning to hit me now... I don’t think I would have given it a second look leave alone thought about it had I come across it when it was actually posted...back in February!
Such a cruel industry omg!! I can’t imagine my own mental state had I been in Sushant’s place and being treated like this. These people must pay for ganging up against the poor guy and fuelling his depression. Looks like he was cornered from all sides and must have felt so helpless.

Most of the forum members know what Ekta is capable of and what she does if someone crosses her path.

I am just citing examples here as Preet (SSR) was an integral part of kish desh mein hain mera dil. The story line was set for him but she changed did due to public demand. Sushant was compensated with Pavitra Rishta and there was no turning back.

It's just not Harshad, Rajeev Khandelwal fought like cats, Pulkit had to bring a court order. Just recently even Mona Singh had a spat with her.

Yes in 2011, all wasn't well between Ek and SSR but she did not ruin his film career, eventually buried the hatchet. It's very common personality trait that defines Ekta from the rest.

He did get a break bcos of Ekta Kapoor. She was his mentor in a way.

To his misfortune there were plenty of star kids who couldn't get the success which he achieved and they did everything in their power to discredit him including cheap journalism. Kjo plays the ring leader to hide his own shortcomings, he has become a bully and it's chronic

I am a part of the forum since Kdmhmd came into existence. Not new to IF. I am not assuming that being banned was the reason but it did contribute to extreme step that he took. Just wanted to end everything once and for all..
