anyways....i get it. Sushant worked harder than RK, was not pampered like RK, achieved a lot more than RK, did not receive any awards, , he was smarter than RK, more intelligent.....

i am really worried about other actors/actresses joining bollywood...

grumpy...is Sushant the 1st one to commit suicide cos of ill treatment from bollywood?

Jiah Khan, Divya Bharti are among other outsiders who entered Bollywood, experienced success and either got killed or committed suicide.

My father always admired him. He of course he is an engineer. When he was alive and people didn't pay attention to the nitty gritty details they thought he was lucky to achieve all his dreams. Obviously some like my father saw him as hardworking and intelligent.

This is about the systematic abuse talented outsiders get with power plays.

Seems you are biased and dont want to accept there is a system who snatch work from outsiders and there is a system that ruin careers of people they dont want to succeed.

Good for you.

If you are asking me the list of suicidal cases, that indicates you need more deaths to happen to accept the problem.

I never said this death is because of bollywood.

But depression can get triggered or people will quit bollywood once you snatch their work with power plays. That's the problem many people point out. If you dont think there is no problem with blocking outsiders work and no auditions are needed to get roles and people can be thrown out after signing films and prep work Good for you.

Peace.

sorry mate, i am having really hard time to digest that someone as smart, intelligent, hardworking as Sushant taking his life just cos of this kind of bollywood shit.

this is the first case I really followed. a smart, intelligent actor taking his life due to growing virus in bollywood. that's why i am asking, has there been any others who took such drastic step before?

People are behaving as if nepotism happens only in BW.....nepotism is ingrained in the human DNA.....anyone would give preference to their own friends and family over others.....may be Mother Teresa and a few others didn't but then they were/are saints.....we are not.....

Ask urself if u had a big opportunity somewhere .....will u give to ur own sibling/son/daughter/best friend.....or will u choose some outsider more qualified....agar outsider choose karoge toh let me touch ur feet....

People who are outsiders today will bring their own the first opportunity they get....do u think SRK/Akshay won't launch their kids if that is what their kids want?

Did Priyanka not bring Parineeti and an army of cousins?

Did Kriti not get her sister to do a song with a superstar Akshay?? How many of you think that a more talented girl could not have done that song.

Did Dharmendra and Hema both outsiders not launch their kids??

Did Rajkumar Rao not not pressurize some director to take his GF as a lead?

Hell...even 1 film old Bhagyashree made the producers cast her husband in 2-3 movies and now her kid is doing a movie??

Do u not see nepotism in businesses...politics and everywhere else?

Do the rick kids not get in good schools by donation and the more deserving are left behind..that is unfair too..

Would you want people to tell you how and where to invest your OWN money?

Don't hate BW for nepotism...because we all would have done the same....if I was SRK ...my daughter would not give an audition...heck no..

Its just that nepotism is more visible in BW.....aap apny 100 rupees bhi soch kar kharch karoge...we don't live in a socialist society...where everyone gets equal...we are allowed to spend our hard earned money whatever way we want and on whoever we want..

What I hate is the bullying part, putting down others in talk shows, the snobbish attitude, thinking that the TV stars are nothing, snatching their roles, I am against all that and BW people who do that should be called out for it...but nepotism no......I won't say that shit KJo is receiving unnecessary hate...imagine if he mistreated SRK what he must be doing with nobodies ....but I will not blame him for anyone's death....ye entertainment industry hai...privately owned and run...don't waste ur time here. also all those up in arms stop watching the movies of star kids if u don't like them....the public can throw out any star kid...u have that power.

While I agree with some of the points you made here. Firstly, the people who benefitted from donating to schools and get their rich kids in are now paying the price by going to jail. Even I felt bad to see parents go to jail for kids who didn't even value what their parents did. I know my father would do anything for my success he paid for several prep course for my law school entrance exams which less well off can not afford. But still he would want me to earn the score my doing studying on my own.

While I agree nepotism exist in other fields. I have yet see it be as prevalent. For example, my attorney mentor was denied a promotion that went to the firm practice owner's son. But she lived with that truth for two years and eventually advanced her career somewhere else. Since the 90s people were aware nepotism existed to some extent in Bollywood. But Alia took it to a whole another level by Dharma productions monopolizing its power and getting her good script after good script. Then it took it a whole another directions by bullying and preventing outsiders from getting opportunities. Giving your children opportunities is common but preventing someone who is not your child from receiving opportunities is a whole another level. This was eye opening for people. It is why people are shook.

People talking about political dynasties here in the USA. That is the politics I am familiar with. No one could deny that Hillary Clinton was exceptionally qualified no her own right. She ran half the policy implementation for Bill Clinton himself like the CHIP program. It was her design. The Bushes weren't qualified. But that dynasty burned down in flames in 2016. In fact the one thing most political analyst agreed on as a 2016 take aways that is was the end of dynasty. Yes, Trump's kids are now benefitting off of his political power. But they receive a fair share of hate and criticism too.

Further more two wrong have never equaled a right. And don't people blame suicides on bullies in school? Then why not when it occurs by adults? Of course no one took Sushant's life for him. But what they did was wrong and they aren't completely blame free either.

Nepotism exists everywhere. Not a new thing. Every one will try to grab opprtunit for their loved ones.

If I am a professor I would try to get a chance to have my kid to my college. What if I start invading my college spots to all people I know by kicking all other people out. Then what about I am trying to manipulate all universities around me and start pushing my friends only?

Every where nepotism acts. But not to this extent. Earlier many outsiders even actors like John could make a name. Now everything is handled and managed by few elites.

More to that they think some decent outsider chaps are inferior. All their life they were pampered with the richest amenities. So every one else other than their elite gang is inferior to them unless they lick their feet.
