In a shocking turn of events, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya Siddiqui are about to end their eleven years of marriage. The couple together have two children, daughter Shora Siddiqui, and a son, Yaani Siqqiqui who was born on the actor's 41st birthday.

Reportedly, Aaliya has sent a legal notice to Nawaz seeking a divorce from him over their troubled marriage. She has also confirmed about the same with Zee News and has revealed that several problems had cropped up in their marriage that had been going on for the past few years but now things have gone beyond repair and she can no longer tolerate it all.

She also shared that most of the issues in their marriage were because of Nawazuddin and his brother. The issues were serious ones but she thought it shall too pass soon. But little did she know that the ongoing issues will lead to her divorce.

However, she refused to share any details about the problems she was facing in their marriage. Aaliya's lawyer had sent the legal notice to Nawazuddin via email and WhatsApp on May 7.

Nawaz, however, has not yet responded to the legal notice!

Confirming the news and revealing more details, Aaliya's lawyer told Zee News in a video message, "Yes, it is to confirm that we have sent a legal notice to Mr Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The notice was sent on behalf of Mrs Aaliya Siddiqui on May 7, 2020.

Due to unprecedented COVID-19 times, the notice could not be sent through speed post. It has been sent through email as well as WhatsApp. Mrs Siddiqui, our client, has also said the notice through WhatsApp.

However, Mr Siddiqui has not responded till date. I think he is just keeping quiet regarding the notice and ignoring it.

The notice has been sent claiming maintenance and divorce. I would not like to get into the details of the notice regarding what are the contents and what are the allegations, but let me tell you that the allegations are quite serious and those are very sensitive to Mr Siddiqui as well as his family members," Aaliya's lawyer told Zee News in a video message.

Nawazuddin is currently in his hometown Budhana in Uttar Pradesh and his family had been under home quarantine after he recently traveled to the state

Hadn't the family assaulted the brother's wife as well?

I would like to know the details before making any judgement

Didn't she complain of domestic abuse last year then it was resolved.

Also I never knew this that Nawaz was married before to some lady and that ended in divorce as well and was bcoz of the same reason " domestic abuse" by his family.

Let's see how this turns out.

This one is his first love and also the one whom he got caught spying on during Kangu HR fight.

This morning I read a headline saying Nawaz's mother is suffering from anxiety disorder. Dunno whether they are trying to put the blame on the mother's ill mental health.
