Revisiting Besharam 2013

What were your thoughts on this film ?

Just thinking about this films gives me a headache .

If I was to revisit anything it would be the era of John and Bipasha’s on screen hump sessions

First thought : what was Ranbir on when he signed this bs?

After tasting succes,RK wanted to become Salman..and he failed.

Alia made the same mistake..she had more time and should have avoided the pitfalls.

Alia belongs to the Tapsee space in Films.In her 8 years,her success stories are GB,Raazi,Highway,Udta Punjab.

She can make small town girl role work too..like the Dulhalnia series.She has now signed on films,which others can do as well or better than her..

The movie was pretty bad, but I especially enjoyed seeing Neetu back on screen (always been a good actress),and Ranbir acting with both his parents for the first (and sadly now last as well) time.

Lol, this forum was on fire on those days, far from what it is today. From what I remember:

(A) YJHD had come out, and everyone on this forum was having too much fun overanalysing DP-RK's WTF statements for promotions

(B) Katrina-Ranbir's Ibiza bikini pics had come out the same summer, with lots of controversy on how exactly those pics got leaked (or rather, who leaked it) and Katrina's 'open letter' to the press about invasion of her privacy

(C) Ranbir had given his highest grosser in YJHD and Besharam was touted to be the biggest Ranbir hit, and easily surpass YJHD according to fans and trade expectations - the result was definitely unexpected.

Do share what you remember - or do correct me if I'm wrong in remembering what was happening in those days 👍🏼
