No, she is doing very well for herself. SLB calling her is big thing. Katrina is there in all big projects.

Katrina will easily have another 4 years as a top actress if she keeps her momentum going. She may be the first 40+ top actress who would remain at the top without a break. All she needs to do is stay at the top of her fitness game and not mess with her face any further.

All the top male superstars are 50+ and inching towards 60. They can't always get away starring opposite 20 year olds. This is causing increase in opportunities for 35+ and 40+ actresses.

Same is applicable for the jibes at Deepika for being "out of work" 😆

If she wanted, she could easily star opposite the top superstars in flowerpot roles like Kareena/Katrina. But she has put her foot down and only wants to do meaty, meaningful parts in good films, which obviously filters down her opportunities. So she has to produce such films for herself - which isn't an insult, it's actually commendable that she's risen to a level where she can handle the production of an entire film and do the roles that she wants. Huge statement.

no..kareena has already achieved that..even with a baby..she never took a break and did back to back movies..she has had a release every year since 2000 excluding 2017..and that is not what you call a break by any margin or else aamir has taken several breaks too..she never stopped working for 5-6 years like aish..karisma..did to even consider it a break of any sorts

It is still a short break. She also took a year long break back in 2006. Katrina has not taken any breaks. She's been churning out films back to back for 16 years now, without any gap. Yes, of course Aamir has taken breaks too. Who's denying that.

all i remember her is having a release or multiple every year..omkara released in summer 2006 and she had an item song in april 2007 followed by JWM..i wonder if thats a break..then oh well..who hasn't taken one..

that way katrina came back after more than a year after JTHJ..with a cameo role in dhoom 3

I didn't say she didn't have a release in a particular year. Omkara was shot in late 2005 and she shot for JWM from March 2007. That is indeed a year long break and she even talked about it in some interview (that's how I know).

Katrina was shooting back to back and never took such long breaks.

Even her 2017 "break", was because she was pregnant & had a baby

She bounced back in a sexy avatar with Veere Di Wedding, so it felt like she never left.

She has indeed stayed relevant like a leading lady all these years, despite a few ups and downs.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to predict that ANY actress will have a guaranteed "another 4 years", especially a 36-year old. Who would've guessed Anushka would have no release for almost 2 years and zero films on hand, if we look back 4 years ago? No-one.

Plus Katrina has indicated very strongly in her interviews that she hopes to settle down, and she'd love to have a family. She will do so within the next 4 years I'm sure. Therefore she won't be the first 40+ actress without a break.

Regarding the male actresses: even when they are 60, they will most likely skip 40-year old female actresses, and go for 30-year olds like Alia, Kiara, Kriti rather than Katrina, Kareena, Priyanka. The Khans are already 10-15 years older than the Rani's and Kajol's and have moved on past them long long ago.
