Plus Katrina has indicated very strongly in her interviews that she hopes to settle down, and she'd love to have a family. She will do so within the next 4 years I'm sure. Therefore she won't be the first 40+ actress without a break.

Regarding the male actresses: even when they are 60, they will most likely skip 40-year old female actresses, and go for 30-year olds like Alia, Kiara, Kriti rather than Katrina, Kareena, Priyanka. The Khans are already 10-15 years older than the Rani's and Kajol's and have moved on past them long long ago.

Actually, it is quite possible.

She is a Top 2/3 actress right now. At her current popularity she can sign films right now and book her next two years. I am sure she would continue to get offered work - no downfall is so sudden. She may not be a Top 3 actress then or command the same market value, but she can definitely not fade into oblivion.

If she settles down, she can still continue working - only break can come in the form of motherhood. But we don't know for certain if she is going to do that. This is from a year ago - In her recent conversation with Mumbai Mirror when the actress was asked to reveal if marriage and children are on cards, she said, "It was on my mind but it didn’t work out and you have to keep following the path set for you in life. I don’t stress about it now. I fought that battle and am at peace with the fact that some things didn’t turn out the way I had hoped for. Now, I’ve left it to the universe and to God because I’m sure there’s a bigger hand that shapes your destiny."

50+ year old actors are still working with 35-40+ year olds like Kajol, Kareena, Priyanka, Katrina. So again my assessment wasn't a longshot.

She and Kareena are the only actresses that match along well with the Khans and Akshay right now. Anushka and Deepika do too. So does Kangana. But Deepika and Kangana work on select projects, while Anushka is taking it easy.

As long as these guys are relevant, Katrina will get work.

Katrina should have started Kay Beauty a few years ago and possibly a sport apparel deal like Virat. It would have really picked up in her prime years and helped her now. Similar to Anushka cashing in on her producer phase with all the Netflix-Amazon money.

Welll it’s okay everyone’s stardom has expiry date. Atleast she ruled BW once upon a time that too without being hailed as a good actress. I mean she was always insulted with regard to her acting skills but she still made her mark, seen the peak of stardom. And atleast along the way, she earned the respect of people and her own colleagues. Some are of them were PR made stars who had to pull down others to gain popularity. Kat did everything without indulging in the nasty PR tactics against others. No wonder she was unanimously voted the female star of the decade. Well her stardom has expired and I’m glad that she is smart enough to venture into other business to stay afloat. Gurl is so smart!
