Idk if any of you have heard or seen the much controversial show Silsila which used to come on Colors in 2018. It's main base storyline was based on Sridevi (Nandini, she's been a Nandini many a times in her life that's another thing), Boney Kapoor (Kunal) and Mona Kapoor (Mauli).

Yes i use to watch that show for mauli. . It was speculated that show is based on sridevi-boney Kapoor s story though i don't think that s true.

Mauli is my all time favorite character on Indian Television history alongwith Indira Bad-ass Sharma. WomeN of Substance 💪💪💪

I was a regular viewer of silsila.Mauli is my fav from the show❤️it was speculated only that story was based on sridevi boney and Mona Kapoor but story was not similar imo

Yes.... would watch it along with my roomie but Aditi's performance made me hold on to it. That divine love angle is one of the shittiest logic I ever came across.

Hahahaha! Not just you it's the same case with all the viewers out there. If not for Aditi's scintillating performance none would've bothered to watch that show. She won over the audience despite given trashy outfits and hideous styling & looks despite makers favoring Drashti and Shakti throughout the show.

Ya I used to. And like most here (on this thread) loved Aditi's Mauli! The performance of the actor, the character were superb. I remember I got really emotional in the scene where Mauli breaks down and confronts her cheater husband after finding out the truth. She was spectacular in that scene (among many many others).

I disliked how the writers always tried to show the cheaters as some lovable, not-to-be-blamed jodi who only made a minor error.

But Mona did not run behind boney,Sri and their kids. Mona was not desperate to get back in bony's life.
