Neither did Mauli. Mauli chose her self-respect over Kunal at the end.

Every woman tries to save their marriage and hopes to set things right. Women are emotional when it comes to these things, that doesn't mean Mauli was desperate to have him back. It was last attempt.

But when she saw Kunal was hoping & trying to find out clues to prove somehow she isn't pregnant, thought Mauli could lie about her pregnancy and didn't care about her emotions infact was watching her fall down on the road, he was more worried why Mauli didn't get hurt, Mauli let him go to his precious nazuk kali Gandini and cut all her ties with him.

Mauli is so empowering!!!

Ya I used to. And like most here (on this thread) loved Aditi's Mauli! The performance of the actor, the character were superb. I remember I got really emotional in the scene where Mauli breaks down and confronts her cheater husband after finding out the truth. She was spectacular in that scene (among many many others).

I disliked how the writers always tried to show the cheaters as some lovable, not-to-be-blamed jodi who only made a minor error.

It was beyond incredible. Next level acting. There has never been a performance like that before on Indian Television besides Pooja Sharma as Draupadi. It was way way leagues out of ITV. Not just you whoever has watched that episode broke down into tears. 😭😭😭

She took the show to next level. Jaan daal di. The only takeaway from that ghatiya serial was those 2 episodes and people will remember that only when people will talk about it in future. Her performance took the ratings from 0.7 to 2.0 the only time in the entire show. 👏

Such was the impact of her performance. It took the SM & internet by storm. Who have no idea about that show or were regular viewers, everyone from other actor fandoms came together and her performance got them together to watch those 2 episodes just to see her performance. All her praising tweets went viral on Twitter and hashtag was on fire.

She was phenomenal in the following episode too where she confronts Kunal again and in next epi she was confronting her snake so-called soulsister. She was the showstealer of that show from the start itself inspite of biased screentime and dialogues & favouritism towards Drashti and Shakti's character. CVs could never have anticipated or imagined Mauli will win over the majority of viewers!

She was outstanding in postleap episodes too. I do remember each & every acting excellent performance of hers scene to scene from Silsila. 😆 Main toh fan ban gaya tha ekhi jhalak se usdin se. I was beyond moved & shaken by her performance. So raw, so real and it touched me so much I could feel Mauli's pain and what she was going through from my TV screen.

LOL. ikr! from the start itself they portrayed those horny lusty divine couple as some angels and society is being harsh and barrier in the path of theirs epic love saga. CVs really thought viewers are fool who would love them and accept whatever nonsense they're gonna show in the name of love just cause th main lead characters were being played by two huge stars! Viewers ne aukaat dikhadi. Kiya dhulai hoti thi KunDini ki har din social media pe 🤣
