AK vs AK stands for Anurag Kashyap vs Anil Kapoor. It was supposed to be AK vs SK for Shahid was first supposed to star in this movie.

The story is about a director going as far as kidnapping the close one of an actor so that the latter will agree to star in his film

When Shahid was part of it, it was Mira Rajput who was supposed to be kidnapped but now it'll be Sonam.

The movie will be a Netflix release.

Also, Rhea and Harsh might be doing a brief appearance in the movie as it's supposed to be a real life mets reel life type of movie.

It indeed sounds very interesting. I was miffed when the project was first shelved. I'm also happy that it's a Netflix movie as it will give the director much more freedom to do what he wants without the pressure of Box-Office looming.

The filming has already began and the movie is supposed to release this year. I don't have any more info about the release date though.

I don't know why Sonam gets so much hate. I haven't watched all her movies but I enjoyed the ones I've seen. Neerja, Ayesha, Ranjhanna and Khoobsurat were such good movies. I enjoyed Prem Ratan Dhan Payo too much more than all the other bad movies Salman makes. I even liked stuff like Dolly Ki Doli - you can watch it on a lazy afternoon and enjoy yourself.

I love that Sonam does female centric movies most of the time but they are fun and lighthearted ones and not ones that makes you want to kill yourself from depression.

I don't know either. I find her endearing on screen and it doesn't hurt that she's an eye candy. She brings something to her role, a fragility and innocence that I don't see in other actresses.

She knows how to choose her scripts too aven though sometimes I'd like for her to do more movies or work with some actors.

It's still nice that she does her own thing and that being out of the rat race, she's not pressurised to score at the box office.

I also like her doing movies in which she has something to bring. The kind of movies she herself enjoys watching in fact.
