@Bold - Nothing new & I have been in IF for a long time to know that it's not only one fandom who do that. EVERY fandom try to prove that their favourite is superior than others and bash other's favourites. Same story everywhere. DP fans might bash others, but other's fans also bash her. So it's a moot point.

@Underlined - So you are saying disliking Deepika's fans is a justified reason to celebrate the failure of Chhapaak? Thanks for clarifying how Chhapaak is being judged & ridiculed over a trivial thing like fandom wars. It's really a lost cause.

Depression is still taboo in India. Whether Deepika is doing it for attention or not, it really doesn't matter if it benefits others. I have an aunt who's suffered from depression from more than 20 years and it was always kept a hidden thing. Some people even confuse it with being "crazy" and people stay away. My uncle has no interest in BW but loves Deepika now because it's made his wife's illness look a lot more normal to have a movie star treating it like that.

I don't think DP's intent matters even if helps one person.
