There was even a long joke on Rape in 3 idiots

There’s a difference in giving feedback/critique to a problematic (read shitty) film that is, Arjun Reddy/KS and to judging a person or their relationship with certain (shitty) people.. I am sure she doesn’t think that highly of Anupama either.. it’s just that she’s sadly one of the few people who provides that platform.. a platform for discussing films specially when there’s more interesting guests like her 👏 than the vanilla BW jokers

ps. And you can’t really directly attack “the host”.. it’d just make a bit too awkward of a watch!

i liked what parvathy said, kudos to her for voicing her opinion when the actor starring in arjun reddy is sitting there, but i also liked that vijay didn't cut her off or disregard what she said, he respectfully listened to her and then gave his own point of view

I really appreciate how Parvathy expresses her views with thoughtfulness. Her views are well thought out, articulate, and very measured. I think people respect her because she's very consistent and genuine in her views. Her personal experience probably contributes to it.

I am a Sonam Kapoor fan, but I get why people find her feminism fake. In general, Bollywood does have a tendency to use feminism as a headline grabber without contributing much. Parvathy seems like a genuine exception who walks the talk. She doesn't talk big either and keeps it humble to her sphere of influence.

1, because he had no answers. What he was blabbering also was nonsense. In fact he wasn't even speaking until he was nudged by Anupama to speak.

2, not interrupting someone is basic common sense, but I understand why it's a big deal in BW where actors are constantly cutting off each other or behaving like fools.

I was thinking of watching it as some friend suggested.

Yes. I loved it. Just watched it this past weekend on Netflix because I am missing Irfaan on our screen since sometime. It’s a feel good, heart warming kind of movie. Direction is great too.
