No it does not matter. Chhapak doing well or bad does not depend on the clash with other movie.

Like during dilwale Vs bajirao mastani, dilwale flopped badly because it was a trashy movie.

So there is no need to change date. If both movies are good both will do well. If one is bad then you know.

Dilwale didn't flopped badly, just didn't grossed as much Bajirao Mastani in domestic market. It was a semi hit or success in domestic market and a blockbuster in overseas. Although that had more to do with SRK Kajol, as that movie was literally the worst movie to come out from Rohit Shetty.

Dilwale and Bajirao were both commerical fares. Rohit Shetty vs SLB. Mindless comedy vs grand Historical. Here its completely different. Big historical vs social issue. Think of the screens it would take. If it were some commercial movie with Deepika headlining I would be so pumped for a clash but in this case Chhapaak loses out on screens it deserves.

I dont have much expectations from Meghna. Did you see her 2007 film Just Married. Ridiculous 🤣

chapaak is a small budget film, it doesn't need alot of screens or box office to become a hit, plus i don't the team is expecting it to break box office numbers, its a movie about a social issue, its not a entertainer with dance, music or action sequences

tanhaji is a big budget action movie, it will need more screens and higher box office to be a success

so its not really tense clash or competition, both are very different films catering to different audiences

Semi hit is just another word for flop. Boi like to play nice to the khans.

But it is true that dilwale is a trashy movie.

Yes Dilwale is trashy, but semi hit isn't flop.

If Semi-Hit is flop then Ranveer is another floppy with only 5 Hits in his career in which 3 are with SLB-DP collaboration.😆
