Joined later or after but she is still going to be credited as a producer so she can celebrate it if she wants to. Chhapaak is also her venture and since the movie subject is sombre they had very low key celebrations at the wrap. '83 is a cheerful movie which also happened to have gruelling schedules where the cast n crew had to work very hard. If one of the actor/producers want to celebrate and thank the crew.. I see no big deal.

its just a wrap up party, deepika likes to host parties for film teams and for friends and family, and she is still a producer and a part of the film, i don't think the team are complaining, they'll be happy to go to a party arranged for them

I wouldn’t think it is an issue if she did it on the low. I would think this is sweet of her. My issue is how she and her team are using this as a PR tool, which takes away the spotlight from the main actors who worked their a** off. She is a huge A list star so anything she puts her name on will be associated with her in the public’s mind and undermine the other actors, including her husband (who is still struggling to be respected as an A list actor because of his close association/collaborations with her).

ranveer isn't struggling to be respected as an A lister, he is considered an A lister and that too on his own merit, nobody thinks that deepika is the lead of 83, everyone knows its ranveer's film, when people see the film her role will be small and ranveer will be there throughout the film, the first looks are of ranveer, so deepika isn't trying to fool anyone into thinking its her film, deepika said herself its a very small role

When the news will come about them attending, automatically everyone will get the attention.... And obviously the max attention will be given during the promotions, where the team will be there, more than Deepika....

She is giving a party, it's obvious the media will address it as her party......

I have on good authority that Ranveer is a stakeholder in 83 taking a percantage of profit and is the highest paid his pr is not harping that fact don't know why. I do agree his pr went lowkey when he should go all out promoting this fact don't know why...

Because he is confident about himself he doesn’t feel the need to show off toxic masculinity and doesn’t mind her being at the helm. That’s absolutely fine, but she chose to marry an actor so she sometimes needs to shut up and be a supportive wife like any other star wives. Not everything needs to serve a PR purpose ffs.

Hosting a party is not being a supportive wife? What did she do exactly? She has invited all of them and every poster in every corner is for the team only. If the team had another party I would have understood your logic but she only organized this party to celebrate THEM. Is this wrong? You are the one who needs to stop being so negative and seeing PR everywhere. She didn’t even try to pretend she has more than a cameo in the movie. You are truly salty for no reason and to say she needs to shut up like others wives is sexist and gross. When others wives publicly support their husband no one question them, when Deepika comment on Ranveer post then she either wants to troll him or wants to do PR. What the hell you guys even want from the woman at the end.
