This comparison is wrong. Rajani Kanth belongs to Tamil movie industry and Prabhas belongs to Telugu movie industry. All South movies are not same unlike North movies. So whole south India is not home to Prabhas and he is new to Tamil, Kannada and Malayali audians just like with Hindi audians and he bacame famous there after Bahubali just like in Hindi.

But even in Telegu his Saaho is outrightly rejected that too after two movies of Bahubalis.

You are saying as if Sahoo has grossed 300 crores in North, which it hasn't. Even Race 3 made 160 crores and TOH 135 crores+.

But for a movie thats been rejected in all of the South, its surprising it is a HIT in North.

Race made 160 crores in total but Saaho is 240+ and the surprising thing is its HIT business in the foreign territory Hindi, while been not at all accepted in South

Sahoo.didnt made 240 crores in North, its total North plus South is 240 crores, in Hindi it has made around 108 crores.

See the reason why TOH and Race 3 were said to be flops/above average is due to the distributor's loss.

It had a blockbuster opening in the Telugu states. And it’s now the third biggest grosser after Baahubali series. But it’s still a flop because of the very high budget. It made as much money as a regular hit Telugu movie makes, but even big Telugu films are made with a budget of 80 to 100 cr max and this was made with 350 cr. Even if the content was great it would’ve been impossible to recover the whole thing. But the content is also not good it had bad reviews. The fact that it is in the top 3 highest grosser list is purely because of its blockbuster opening. It performed like thugs of Hindustan in that respect. Even Prabhas’s stardom can’t save such a movie.

The collections were very good for first four days and then it crashed.

It’s a hit in Hindi because the Hindi rights were bought at a reasonable price.

They should’ve controlled the budget of this film. They spent way too much on it.

But still sahoo's 108 is close to race 3's 160 .... Which is kinda miracle compared that race 3 is Salman Khan and sahoo is Prabhas.....

yeah I know this that 240 is its allover India net.

but for the hindi dist. saaho is already a hit even with this much business of 108 so far.

Yes, Somehow in telugu most of the movies which comes after block boaster are utter flops. May be because they expect better content/film than last one or because of the high expectations. Ex. Sainakudu after Pokiri (Wanted original) for Mahesh, Orange after Maghadeera for Ram Charan, Andhra wala after Simhadri for NTR etc..

Why I mentioned the Rajani kanth one is Tamil industry is totally defferent than Telugu and when it comes to Rajani kanth they accept anything. Even though there are lot of crappy movies in telugu they don't worship their star to that extent.

Yes, Most of the people think south industry is one just like north industry. South industry has 4 def languages , traditions and tastes. Also compared to Tamil audience Telugu audience are more welcome to any language (dubbing) film as long as they like it. If they like the film they extend their like to the actors also. We can not say the same with Tamil audience. They never treat other film industry people as they treat their own .They don't need to be from the same state but they supposed to belong to Tamil industry like Rajani Kanth, Vishal etc...

Maybe they sold it at a higher price to distributors down South 😕.
