HOW COME Saaho failed in its homeland but is a HIT in Hindi ?

Isn't it surprising that Saaho is continuously performing much better in Hindi belts, is already a HIT there but FAILED in its homeland and did not performed in South where the film originally belongs to?

What can be the reasons?

* Is South audience dont believe in star system and prefers a quality film only, instead of worshiping stars unlike in Hindi?

* We have seen countless lame movies of Rajni kant in south doing great business over the last many years, then why Saaho is an exception if we consider it as another lame potboiler ?

* Hindi belt also now giving hit verdicts to content based films lately like of Ayushman, vikcy, rajkumar rao etc and the masala potboilers of biggest Hindi stars r failing in last few years on consistent bases, then why such a potboiler that too been heavily criticized for its quality got so much success in Hindi belt, while failed at its homeland belt ?

any answers? logics....? guesses ?

but thats what I wrote as well, that EVEN HINDI AUDIENCE is changed and they r not accepting trash from even HINDI SUPERSTARS...failures of TOH, race 3 and ZERO r prime examples... hindi audience is consistently lapping up content based films and rejecting trash of big stars.... then HOW COME Saaho scored so well here ?

It's definitely not the first one, lots of crappy movies are successful in the south.

For some reason Saaho didn't connect with the audience there. It happens.

That's just circlejerk because all 3 Khan's suddenly failed. Simmba last year already showed that the audience is still fine with crappy masala shit, it was still very successful.

South is famous for giving BB status to so many crappy films

then WHY not Saaho, as its prabhas' homeland and especially after Bahubali?

and also HOW COME it is a hit in Hindi, when Hindi audiences are rejecting crappy films of their own stars and giving nod to mainly content driven films in recent past.

You are saying as if Sahoo has grossed 300 crores in North, which it hasn't. Even Race 3 made 160 crores and TOH 135 crores+.

This comparison is wrong. Rajani Kanth belongs to Tamil movie industry and Prabhas belongs to Telugu movie industry. All South movies are not same unlike North movies. So whole south India is not home to Prabhas and he is new to Tamil, Kannada and Malayali audians just like with Hindi audians and he bacame famous there after Bahubali just like in Hindi.
