no idea who gulkand i s but i disagree

geet was one of the best female characters to come from bollywood in last many years

what made it real...from kareena's usual poo antics was that she had a different serious side as well...the story was such that everyone felt sad and upset that such a cutie positive full of life girl was cheated. she trusted that person...who btw resemble dhoni...she was innocent... she was living in another world which btw did not exist. and then she withdraws... she realizes the harsh reality of life and instead of jumping from a cliff she decides to dedicate her life to work which shows her strong nature

add to it music....

add to it story

more than kareena its about character though i feel if it was juhi it would not have appealed to me...if it was madhuri it would not have appealed to me...same case with karishma. some times an actress just fits a role

whether this character is practical or not....well this goes either way. i agree in desi society she might not be acceptable to all... too bold..too talkative..too independent for some. but we are not searching for a bahoo here..its a movie and audience in general felt good seeing her nature. i liked it even though i am totally not such a person. thats another thing people who are not like that tend to appreciate such characters as well lol. and there are many like that
