The thing with Deepika is, even if she speaks good, it comes across superficial and with ulterior motive.

Signing Ranjan's next was a big damage to her social reputation. Her own fans turned against her. Of course, not working with Ranbir was never an option so to salvage the damage, she quickly came up with something that helped her significantly in climbing the social ladder, initially.

She applied the same formula again.
