Even Oscars! I think this man is right. There are 20 aspects of a film and your entire review is stuck up on one and u are running down an entire film based on that.

These r same Critics who never ask why Nawazuddin does Misogynist roles and keep praising him to the skies. But want to insult Shahid instead.

eew, defensive much! and of course only a person with that mentality could make such a film..🤢 I mean "no socially conscious" person could write those scenes without it being a satire.

I think his knows that in a few years his film will age like one of those 'big grossers' that no one really cares about.. like Gadar or some other big hit but insignificant film.

but those critics didn't insult shahid, they said shahid did a great performance, they are talking about the content of the film, so they have nothing personal against shahid or even sandeep, the film just didn't sit well with them, and its their opinion, its the audiences choice whether to agree or disagree with it, but this director is taking the defensiveness overboard

What a brutally honest guy. Please don't compare him to Kangana... there's no one like her, not even KRK when it comes to attention seeking and attacking people. This guy has received scathing criticism that he is responding to. Kangana does what she does unprovoked.

This was hilarious though. It's probable he took a lot of the elements from his own life but it was an amusing interview. Parasites lol TBH though I do feel that we should not hinder people from making movies on different characters. I mean we have people like Sadhguru who are being followed by thousands of people who say that women who aren't economically weak don't need to work and there's no outrage as such over that...That is what can actually influence so many people but nope. Hum toh ek fictional character Kabir Singh ke peechhe padenge. Jab real life mein log narrow-minded baatein bol rahe hain, toh wo toh sirf ek movie hai.

The guy seems almost obsessed with his creation Arjun Reddy, justifies almost all his rationale but still doesn't want his own son to turn out the same. That my friend is hypocrisy at it's best.

Also the few gems : comparing a wedding to that classroom scene n the liberty of slapping your spouse is directly proportional to true love🤪

Arjun reddy was a fictional character but this man here has actual issues.

Although, looks like he's decided to encash on the outrage. For him, the more the outrage, the more his movies will gather publicity.

As long as he makes solid films, kuch bhi chalega. Hopefully, he is not carried away by this 'more' than expected success.

Also, don't think he is doing this, at this point, for creating more controversy, if that was the case he would have done this earlier.

😳

Wow!! I didn't realize people have opinion like he does, is Arjun Reddy his biopic? 😲😲

He is right about critics judging whole movie on one scene, Sucharita has a habit of lying and misinterpreting scenes in her review.

Loved his honest answers 👍🏼

1) he was bang on when he said that the film became huge hit so critics(lol parasites in his words) also became silent Or else there would b more critics.

2) not all movies need to b morally correct n give social message n not evryone should do movies based on how critics will take it... this movie is on angry short tempered guy n his love story. Both kabir n Preeti kind of ppl exists in this world.

3) lol it was slap on critics when he brought double standards of rajeev (fat and salt pepper hair lol) to give 3.5 rating to Sanju but gave 2 for this. If critics r biased then they should no way considered as critic..

4) indirectly he gave it to Anupama by bringing Sucharita 😆the movie paruthiveeran where heroine gets raped n it was so horrible to watch won national award. These kind of movies doesn’t mean they encourage these situations but to show these kind of ppl r also there.

5) he got taken back for saying this movie is violent so he wanted to make violent movie next n see what critics will say😆

I loved his answers for many questions...
