Honestly I don’t get it. If the director is allowed to have an opinion then critics too. They are allowed to say whatever they want just like mr. Director wants to make the film the way he wants. And that is okay. Critics are also an audience just like normal cinema goers they will like it or not and express it. This why did he gave for this movie this or that is childish to be mentioned by a director. He is Behaving like fans who rant if their fav got lesser stars than other actors movie.

Despite that he can’t handle criticism The only part I am most disgusted is that his excuse why female critics haveing a problem with his movies is they don’t know what love is/ or never been in love. I mean Whaaat?

There is a difference between toxic love what he is showcasing and the pure love that they are useing to promote the love story. This is definetely not pure love.

Oops instead of quoting your post I pressed like. Critics are joke half of them are not even certified and lack neutrality. Which is needed for fair review. Let's not go there ki critics bikke hue hai.

Not completely justifying things he said in the interview but on critics being parasites is true.

All critics are good reviewer but all reviewers can't be a good critic.

no, critics are not normal cinema goers. they called themselves CRITICS. their reviews/ratings can make/break a movie. critics should be unbiased.

ex: white washed Sanju ko 3+ rating dena, misogynistic/creepy kabir singh ko 2 stars dena.

critics are corrupt. one can buy them off.

ps: I dont like AR/KS movie & I'm not endorsing director's opinion/justification of his hero. but I do agree with his views on so called CRITICS.

South director calling BW critic fat? Teluguites will be maha pleased.

I too am enjoying Masand getting humiliated...AAAND,that is how it works!

No, we are not pleased especially girls . Hope bollywood keeps him. I disown him.😆

It has become so normal for a guy to hit a girl that we are used to this crap. Watch Mahesh babu movies, he almost always slaps girls for so called out of passion. And he is hot so chaltha hey. Even with good story , they try to include these kind of scenes. Because audience love it. Will they love the movie without a slap scene. Ofcourse, people will but they will anyway put the scene.

At 2:13 slap scene

https://youtu.be/j3CPaO290cU

At 1:24. Even Amrita rao got slapped. Trash movies.

https://youtu.be/2g_sQpE3CYk

At 2:13 , he pulls Trisha's hair.

https://youtu.be/F7X1ilDpYHc

At 0:27 he slaps Samantha.

https://youtu.be/ahWrW3pyfmo

Slapping= romance for these stupid directors. I have stopped watching these guys movies. Who slap for no apparent reason.

Okay but who is a certified critic? Are we only likeing a critic if we agree with the review? And Lack of neutrality ? They either like it or not. Yes maybe this exaggerating about why did they make this movie it’s toxic I don’t agree with that part and the outrage. Everyone is allowed to make the film they want. But they are allowed to write what they don’t like about the movie. Just like everyone is allowed to build an opinion about the movie. And Just because some are likeing it doesn’t mean everyone needs to like it. And not everyone will turn to the character they watch but still there are people who really takeing such stuff to another level. Especially in India. Both things are true and everyone is right in their own way.

And I agree some are paid but still critics review can’t make or break a movie.

They would put an unnecessary scene where he is on mission and heroine comes there for some reason. She talks to him and gets slapped. Apparently , he was trying to protect her and don't want her to be seen with him.

Telugu movies are mostly for male audience. They usually appease these audience with shi* like these.

Bollywood is a saint compared to tollywood and I like watching bollywood movies for this reason. They are making really good female oriented movies these day. There's lot more to improve but even Hollywood is regressive in some ways. In past, there used to be some female oriented movies but now sometimes Anushka shetty gets to shine and there is Samantha , who is trying to bring some change. Samantha being Nagarjun's daughter-in-law helps though.
