Rumor: Kartik and Jahnvi are Siblings in Dostana 2

It is now learnt that Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor could probably play siblings on the big screen. Confirming the same, a source close to the development told Pinkvilla, "Kartik and Janhvi are not paired opposite each other in Dostana 2. In fact, they are playing siblings in the film. This is a new brother-sister pairing that KJo is introducing with the movie. The reason why they called the third lead 'a suitable boy' is because both Janhvi and Kartik have the same love interest, to be essayed by this newcomer that Dharma plans to launch with the sequel."

So Kartik is actually gay in the movie? Color me surprised. I didn't think he had it in him. Let's hope they don't turn it into homophobia for comedy stereotype that all KJo's movies do. Make a whole mockery of being gay.

This actually sounds interesting on paper 😆. I doubt Dharma would execute it well though.

Well Dharma has a gold plot in hand, brother and sister falling for the same dude or who knows same girl, given how Kjo promotes his girls. But anyways, it is a golden opportunity which most likely Dharma will drop the ball on and make a tatti movie like Kalank/ADHM/KANK.

There is a web series by ALT balaji called Romil and Jugail which has similar context. I actually liked that show 😊.

Forum ka kiya hai, at one point they don't want outsiders to work with Kjo because he ruins them, and when his movie has insider kids, tabhi wohi log Kriti, Yami, Sara(insidero ki outsider), Radhika, Patralekha and blah blah ko kiyu nahi liya bolke complain karenge.
