Time to praise Katrina

Katrina stole the show in TZH, Thugs of Hindostan, Zero and now is the Best part of Bharat.

Told you she is not that bad an actress that some say. I thought she was pretty decent in Ajab Prem, NewYork, ZNMD, Brother ki Dulhan and Rajneeti.

People keep blowing trumpets of outsiders.

For someone who comes from a Foreign country to make it to the Top without knowing the local language is far bigger achievement. And before u say Salman, if he could make any one a Star, his brothers and his entire group of Daisy, Ayush etc wud hv made it big too.

The same bunch will say all these movies are her flops when they flopped. Infact there are some who label thugs as her flop when she was a cameo there and did that for aditya chopra who is mentor to her and her association with YRF is for over a decade doing so many movies with them. They had falling out but she has been YRF actress since 2009.

But tzh became bb or if Bharat becomes profitable, they will say it is not her bb. Double standards to highest level. They will never credit her for success. Yes Salman might not need actresses but having an actress like Kat is better than having daisy. And he saw the result working with then. And tiger is her franchise too. She is soul of the franchise. And has also equal screenspace in Bharat.

Anyways happy she got positive reviews for zero and now Bharat. Has next with rohit shetty where she has action packed role where she rocks and some other scripts in talk . Not bad for 35 plus actress in india at all. She is doing very well. There are some girls who people call number one and yet to deliver a 200 crore hit lmao! Kat has plenty of those.

She has been in top 3 since 2007. For over a decade and still there despite people here keep saying opposite. She might never be number one again but she is doing well for herself. Reaching number one in another country is big deal and she reached there. Her competition was pc kareena. She was there. Then deepika anushka. She was there. Now new girls r coming. She is still there. That is one hell of longevity. She is here to make money and is earning lots from endorsements ,stage shows and also keep giving us movies.

YRF took her for so many films bcoz of her Star power and felt she has a Midas touch. Every film of hers became successful back then. She had very few flops. Even Aamir promoted Thugs on Katrina's name bcoz of her Star factor

Katrina did so well in her last 3 films.The films failed her.

Films ,directors failed Khans and Hrithik.

It is easier to make small entertaining medium budget films.

There is no director today,who has the capacity to think big in terms of vision and capacity to make big entertainers.

Katrina was the only one among A listers who was signing films.Anu too stopped.

Srk has given up.He is as charged,as hardworking as ever..you can see it on screen.

Akki and Ajay,who do medium budget films with mostly B list heroines,will keep churning out films.

she has always been praised from being a protige of salmon to being a total expressionless actor and an item dancing queen...

her credibility as an actress is still questionable unless she doesn't get the mother tongue and the accent right...

but since she has been successful so praises follow her..

Not a Kat fan but her achievement is commendable 👍🏼👍🏼 And good that she improved her acting. She was declared a flop during Fitoor , Baar baar dekho etc but she rose again and how 👍🏼

She is a Fabulous dancer. Not just an item dancer. And dancing requires skill. She has made it to the Top of the list in a foreign country. How many people can achieve even 1% of that.

And i dont think she is expressionless at all. I thought she was really good in Ajab Prem, New York and even Zero

Every time I see a thread on Katrina, I steel myself for ridiculousness. Blows my mind how much bias it takes to blind oneself from her achievements and she has achieved plenty!

Katrina is a women who have held on to every ounce of her life’s passion, regardless of how popular or unpopular it is to maintain. Often done with much grace and humility.

The funniest thing about her is that she is not even 'cool'! She works all the time, eats dinner at 6, never hangs out, don't gossip and dresses atrociously off-screen, with no make up! Ugh! Nope, she is not a cool girl. This is why she gets bullied by her exs, hello Ranbir, I'm looking at you!!!

Katrina's reserved nature makes her an easy target. Haters are gonna hate, but she just keeps on going!

Thank you so much for making this thread. Some people discredit all Katrina's hard work and accomplishment because of her association with Bhai and allegedly stealing someone else's boyfriend. How come all Bhai's launch apart from Katrina failed then? How come Deepu is willing to go at lengths to be friendly with her when Kat was supposedly dating RK and invite Kat to her wedding then? Also, Katrina has given hits like New York with lesser known actors like John and Neil Nitin Mukesh without resorting to any cheap publicity gimmicks. Even her acting and dancing skills improved a lot since she debuted.It is so unfair that how all her work in making it big in a foreign country gets overlooked.

Always loved Katrina. I noticed in Namaste London that she could act. She also did well in other movies like NY, Rajneeti, etc

My personal fav is ZNMD and MBKD - its her best work IMO

I really want to see her in an action role something like Tomb Raider. Why hasnt Bollywood done that yet? Katrina is perfect for that.
