What was the status of Ash Vivek's relationship?

This is the only relationship that I don't understand in BW. He was crazy about her and telling the world about his relationship about her. He even did press conference for her against Salman, which ruined his image but she never accepted him as her boyfriend. Then, she married Abhishek. So were ever in relationship? People call Vivek fool because he still can't forget about her betrayal and people call Ash smart because she left him. Ash is always shown as a victim and her exes and current is blamed whether it's Salman, Vivek and Abhishek. She might have a bad experience with Salman but what really happened with Vivek? After he created the meme of Ash, I watched lot of videos and read lot of comments about their relationship and I became excited to know what really happened. If she didn't want to acknowledge him, then why was she painting the town with him?

I think this was more of a one-sided thing. He was infatuated with her but she was never really that into him. That's why she never really acknowledged the relationship.

They dated. It's not like she kept him hidden. There are pictures of them out together. She didn't talk about him but at that point in her life after being burned by the Salman stuff in the media she kept quiet about her personal life. She didn't talk about Abhishek until she married him.

It can't be one sided. If it were one sided, then Ash wouldn't paint around the town with him all the time after she dumped Salman. There are pictures everywhere. She flirted with him and probably said I love you to him too. Othewise, Vivek wouldn't be so confident about their relationship. He is not that fool. He was so much into her that he took a risk to do press conference against Salman. This relationship seems very complicated like Maliaka Arjun that never admitted their relationship but they always paint around the town and make media and people believe that they are dating. I don't understand why some celebreties doesn't admit their relationship but they act like they are in serious relationship.

I am not sure about male celebrities but for female celebrities their brand value gets affected negatively when they start dating/get married. Also, there were already lot of speculations/ judgment on her due to her relationship with Bhai. She probably decided to keep it in the wraps to avoid public scrutiny.

Vivek would tell anyone who would listen that he was dating Aishwarya. Ash didn’t acknowledge dating Abhishek either and neither did Abhishek till their engagement. See what I mean about being on the same page.

I think this was only part of the problem. I don’t think they were compatible at all. It always seemed like Vivek loved the idea of being with Aishwarya more than the girl herself. My speculation is she wasn’t respected at all with Salman and she was treated like a porcelain doll with Vivek. Abhishek treated her like an equal and the rest is history.

I think he was the rebound and things get so messy after salman that she preferred to keep everything under wrap. Vivek obvs thought differently.

If she didn't want to talk about her personal life, then she shouldn't get involve with Vivek just right after she had break up with Salman. No matter how much she denied the rumor, it won't change the fact that she had affair with Vivek and she can't shut media's mouth when she was painting around the town with him so much. If they weren't on the same page, then she should've talk to Vivek about that. Getting involve with Vivek just ruined not only her reputation but also Salman and Vivek's reputation and it made her look like a cheater.

If you are interested then watch Vivek Oberoi when he came on Koffee with Karan at the time he was dating Aishwariya. Vivek was obnoxious. His downfall was because of his own ego.

Aishwariya never accepted any of her relarionships until she married Abhishiek which was dramatic itself with the controversial wrdding guest list and what not.

But other than that, she never publicly acknowledged any of her exes or even Abhishek when they were dating even though she was openly seen with the men she dated.
