Student Of The Year 2 dropped 55% on Monday as it collected 5.25-5.50 crore nett apprx. The collections have dropped more than they should have but it could have been worse as it looked the film would just about get over 4 crore nett in the afternoon.

The film has now collected around 43 crore nett in four days and the week should be able to go to 55 crore nett or more. The Monday total ensures it will not cover the ground that it lost on Sunday but it could still end up an Average fare depending on how the film goes in the second week.

The bigger drops have come in the multiplexes of North which were affected by the elections on Sunday but the markets are just not covering the lost ground. Delhi city and East Punjab are down with UP holding collections at around 50% down from Friday. The holds are better in places like Gujarat and CP Berar.

Gotta love how BOI words its articles for its faves and downplays the drop and underperformance of this film and Kalank when they were so harsh for just a minuscule drop two months back for another film..aww

Gully Boy had a big drop on Wednesday as it collected 6 crore nett apprx as the places where it is doing excellent business like Mumbai and Pune came of a minor holiday and others like Rajasthan, UP and CI which are bad arpe dropping fast anyway.

The total collections are around 94 crore nett and it should finish close to 100 crore nett though after tuesday it had looked like it would have cruised over 100 crore nett. The film should still maintain well enough over the second week due to the big metros showing holds. It will be the five big metros making the film a HIT as outside its rejection with collections set to be very low on the second Friday in all core Hindi mass markets.

The collections of Gully Boy till date are as follows.

Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx

Friday - 12,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 18,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 21,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 8,50,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 8,00,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 6,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 94,00,00,000 apprx
