Yes they be paid. I'm one hundo that Papa Jo gave them all fat cheques to trash the film/other characterizations and exclusively praise Ananya.

Nah Ananya was good honestly 😆 Except in the songs, she seems to have trouble in lip syncing. But overall her character was really good and I think she did justice. Tara was good but I just couldn't like her character, it was so empty so she really had nothing to do in my opinion. Tiger was ok but the action scenes got too tiring to watch.

It’s easy to be better and liked when whole effort is done to make your character likable, written better and you are given all the confidence to do better and to have all the support behind you and know what and how to do. I hope Tara gets better movies with good roles. And glad the 20+ crore opening isn’t true. There we go with all the supposed stardom of Tiger. Now I hope this movie flops big time.

I saw the movie and it’s not so bad! It’s not better than the old one but it’s still watchable!

There is a defined story for sure and the screenplay is pretty crisp!

The weak points of the movie are the songs which IMO just don’t work ! It needed high level music

All three leads were good but I have to put all bias aside and agree that Ananya was just awesome! The girl has a lot of potential and looked really pretty too.

Tara is really good too! Beautiful face - it’s just it’s her role that sucked otherwise she’s a nice addition to Bollywood - probably the best looking newcomer in a long time

Tiger was good but got bored of him. Aditya Seal is uninteresting and boring!

Who will watch Tiger shroff in theatre??

Looks like Tara got a raw deal and Ananya got a better one: bratty girl .. love hate equation .. falls in love ... and ends up with the main lead ... The END!

Tara must have accepted the role to get in KJo camp ... she already has another movie with Sid as lead .. otherwise this role sounds like a side kick role ... no wonder Ananya has been so snooty towards her in th IVs!

Student Of The Year 2 First Day Business

Student of The Year 2 collected a decent 11.75-12 crore nett on day one. The film did average business pretty much all over with Mumbai, CP Berar and Eastern India recording the best numbers. The collections are 50% less than Tiger Shroff's last film Baaghi 2 but that is mainly due to the zone in which this film is in which caters mainly to the multiplex audience.

There are some circuits affected due to Ramadan like UP and Nizam / Andhra, the latter could also be due to a big Telugu film releasing in Andhra which has put up pretty good numbers. The first Student Of The Year film had picked up 7.50 crore nett on day one in 2012 and this film has managed a wider reach than that film as collections in hindi circuits are far more higher than a Mumbai city or Delhi city.

The film is going to be about the growth over the weekend and will have to improve around 20-30% on day one to get a good weekend result and a chance to hold on Monday.
