Alot of celebs have seemed to have skipped the whole voting thing - does that affect your opinion of them? Will you think less of them or not be a fan anymore?

Not unless they go all out preaching everyone but when the day comes they don't vote themselves. Such cases of hypocrisy I do frown upon.

Yes, not just celebs, I judge anyone who doesn't vote despite having all the facilities and health to reach the polling booth. I mean elections come once in five years, that too the booth is always around 2 km radius, takes just 2 mins to vote. I mean if you can't do that much for once in five years for yourself not anyone else, I can't help but be judgemental about you.

Given the amount of work the EC has done this year to make voting process so smooth, I mean there were more EC employees than voters in the booths in Mumbai today, this is the least we can do!

Absolutely agree. Just gave an earful to a cousin who was like it's too hot to go vote this year but the same heat didn't stop them from jumping outta bed in the middle of the day for an Avengers show. I can't stand such people.

As pachu said, everyone should vote. I mean even differently able people are voting nowadays, so why can't the so called conventionally able people do. I mean nowadays it is doesn't even take much time as numbers of booth has increased, hence the all typical lazy excuses of crowded polling boths and long queues are gone out of window. So everyone should vote, celebs included.

I am not justifying the act of not voting but - I know sometimes people dont vote because they dont feel like anything is going to change, corruption is just so deep that they have just lost all hope and will.

If they hv genuine reason it's ok. Cannot judge from outside ki kya he kya nahi.

But apart from that ppl should vote. Warna baad me floods ayegi and the same ppl are like omgg these politicians dont do anything. 😡😠

And booths are so near. Its like morning walk. No need to dress like wedding just for voting. 😂 no lazy excuses.

That is a lame excuse.[BR]

The most a citizen can do is vote, if they don't vote, they have no right to cry later when things are not going well.

Pretty much sums up Bombay for you. I mean the city is having 24*7 screenings of Avengers, IMAX shows at far away places like Wadala are housefull be it 3 or 10 in the morning or 10 at night yet they can't even get out to vote. All the hotels at getaways near Bombay are all booked despite a price hike. Matlab they will do everything, be it watch a movie or use an extended holiday for pleasure yet not vote! Bombay amazes me like no other city!

dont know which mumbai you are talking about.......in my area there were long long extra long queues at the voting booth.....everyone i know have gone to vote and taking it very seriously......

OT : yes, i do judge if the celebs dont.......
