Fair enough, I understand your point and respect what you said.
But Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha and Abhishek Bachchan and Esha Deol and so many others had the same privilege if not more, but they didn't land where Alia is today, because they don't have what she has: immense talent. So yes of course she got her opportunities through her connections but she's earned her place. Just watch one of her performances, who's better than her right now, no one.
If I answer this question the way I want/ or think. ppl will attack me for being bitter or what not, esp her fans. but its not only her immense talent when she is working with critically acclaimed directors in every film under dharma and someone is looking out for her. I literally say this in every thread, that's all I say in just different ways. but her fans attack like volcanoes and start to get personal and remembering your handles. that's my opinion, im not changing that.
she's a good performer, but her films are stronger than she is. her films have all won awards since the past three years. she's successful b/c of her talent..but her opportunity. and I can confide on that based on her poor films not doing well, and her performance not being appreciated either. when you have more successes in great films, obviously you will be touted as the best.
