I haven't seen the movie but I don't think that script would have been saved by anyone.Yes an other capable actress might have acted better, but reading the story, I don't think either Kjo ya Abhishek were capable of doing it right.

I just want Bharat to do well and Kat to bounce back. On topic- If Sky is Pink and Chappak release this year then PC and Deepu would be contenders for best actress along with Kangu and Aloo. Not sure about the rest.

Chhapaak needs to come this year. The movie is clashing with two commercial ones so it needs to change the release date and prepone if possible. If that happens, nobody can stop Deepika to gain the same traction she did after Piku's release. But considering the realistic options Kangana's Panga and Mental hain Kya sound promising. There's Taapsee in Badla too. What other good movies are coming this year?

Nope. Alia was the main character. Its in the trailer itself. 'Meri' ek galti ne... And I agree POVs depend on the story and in Kalank's case it was ridiculous how Roop was the central character when Zafar's background and backstory and just his character had so much more meat to it than Alia's which was basically a confused girl who didn't have clue about anything. In a period movie a full arc is needed of the central character. Roop wasn't even half baked. She was quarter baked. Even the Dev-Satya marriage track had more going on.

Alia Bhatt will still be No.1 at the end of 2019.

Deepika Padukone has zero releases this year.

Taapsee Pannu is certainly doing quite well, I like her a lot but let's not pretend she is anywhere near the Top 5 at this moment.

Katrina Kaif has Bharat but let's not get carried away. She will have 3 songs and 5-6 scenes. This is a Salman Khan film remember. Apart from Anushka in Sultan, when was the last time a heroine had anything decent to do in one of his films in the last 15 years????

Kriti Sanon is possibly Alia's nearest rival. She is doing very well. All she needs is a smash hit song in Housefull 4 and a meaty role in Panipat, and for them both to be hits for her to strongly challenge Aaloo. But even still, she doesn't have enough on her plate to score No.1.

Shraddha + Parineeti are also breathing down Queen Alia's neck. Let's see how they do as their careers are highly unpredictable.
