Oh I do get it.But I also think Alia 's 'star power' will take a dent from Kalank.And with Alia not having another movie- and other girls releasing..they might rise and challenge Alia's position.So maybe other actresses can get to top.Still, too early to tell.

I will say Shraddha. Shraddha has Saaho and Street Dancer right? What other releases is she having. This could be her year as both these movies will be money spinners.

When is Malang releasing? Bharat and Malang can make it Disha's year too

Aloo is already counted in the top 3. Her position will not change with just one flop.

See female actress star power is very thin, not even Deepikahad can save a bad movie.[BR] [BR]So too say Alia is a fake, media hyped star just because Kalank failed is an overreaction. [BR] [BR]See practically the only contenders for Alia this year are Shraddha and Kangu, because when their movie fails, people(not PR) blame them first.Same thing never happens with the likes of Kriti, Tapsee, Bhumi and so on, because they haven't reached that level yet.Unless you have that creditability, you don't become a top star. Kriti has a chance to reach that as her PR is hyping her too much as box office darling nowadays.So lets see, where it goes.

If the report is true about Norah having more screen time than Shraddha in Street Dancer, she can't be #1.

why just segregate to hero and heroine, lets put them all under one category, who is going to be the No 1 actor this year coz more and more movies are coming out with females in the main lead.

I really hope we get to see more actors reaping success than the usual gang coz we will see more competition and hence more creativity and talent.

This is why its important for movies like Lukka Chuppi, Badla, Manikarnika, Tashkent files...doing well coz then it adds more variety in genres and creativity thus leading to more choices for audience and makers too.

As for leading actress, this year, Alia, Kangana, Tapsee, Shwetha Basu Prasad and Kriti are in the lead coz their movies have scored at the box office, Deepika's Chapaak shows promise , hope it does well.

I just want more choices as a viewer both in terms of actors, scripts, stories instead of shoving same old same old on to us and having no choice other than this.
