Even if Hiroo Johar gives his kids maternal love and offcourse any grandmother would I think it will just end up confusing them soon enough as they call her 'mama'. In a couple of years they will realise that their mama is their father's mother so who is then there mother? Personally if they just kept it as dadi it would be less confusing for them later on..

I am not sure if the paying party is completely in the dark considering they might want to see the woman and know her medical records before they choose her as the surrogate mother. People like Ekta, KJo have enough money to cross all legal barriers.

Ekta also claimed she tried IVF several times before she went in for surrogacy. So maybe Ekta knows who the sperm donor is. She is too superstitious, sab kundli dekh ke kiya hoga.

I think there are some laws that make surrogacy illegal or difficult to carry out in India. That's why she explained that she had undergone IVF and it didn't work out.

2. Today’s kids only are very mature and especially the urban ones. Next gen will have lot more maturity and exposure to western culture, especially in their society/class. So I can assume they will not want to embarrass their parents by asking such questions. Single parenting is a real thing. I am sure these kids would appreciate the extra length their parents have gone through to have them in their lives.

his kids obviously have a biological mother, but there must have been a contractual agreement that she wouldn't be a mother figure in their life
